Nanook, things to consider when drafting for the Chiefs...

1. Character is a priority. Team Captains are ideal.

2. Can you play, even a minor role, very well? Value on our board.

3. Versatility. Multiple uses are also valuable.


KC will not draft players that will disrupt our team chemistry. We will probably take the best player available at a position of need. Someone who will help us now AND in the future.

Andy Studebaker signed a 5 year deal. My guess is he will be replacing Vrabel.

McCluster was not drafted to be a #2 receiver. He is an offensive weapon. Some fans think we don't know how to use him. I think we used him well...as a decoy, which is what made him so valuable to us as a rookie. He is learning slot WR, split WR, RB, and KR. He IS undersized. Otherwise he is everything you want in an offensive weapon.
