Hey y'all...
I just posted this new mini documentary clip. It's just over two minutes long. It's about a small town murder that happened in San Simeon, Ca in the early 70's.
We were given access to the property and nobody has gone in in almost 40 years... Very creepy... It's very interesting subject matter. I'll be posting pics on my flickr account too. If you have a youtube account post comments.
Thanks for helping

Excellent camera work. Wonder if anyone will ever piece together what actually happened? When I google it brings up the Patricia Hearst book about a 1924 murder. Can you post a link or something to more info? Names?

I'm staying away from HDSLR until they solve the movement/moray issues. I'm doing a lot of work right now with a Brevis adapter and would hard-pressed to go on to something else.

I want the Scarlet cam to be released.

@Lord Kancho-I just finished a roller derby documentary and the movement wasn't an issue. I wasn't "totally prepared" for the workflow change in HDSLR but I'm glad I switched.

My brother just made the switch BUT he may switch back...

I'm happy with the new gear, workflow and results.

I don't know of the Scarlet cam that you speak.

Scarlet cam is going to be the lowest end Red Cam, approx $6000. EVERYONE is waiting for it. All the other companies are in a desperate rush to build cams that can compete with it when it's released.

I need to learn more about this. The Canon 5D that I use is sooo amazing. It is changing the the whole world.

They film episodes of "24" with it.

Saturday Night Live uses it.

Last seasons finale of "House" was filmed with it.

Many feature films have been filmed on it.

The jump from videography to cinematography has been like Han Solo jumping to Light Speed.

So much going on in the industry...

I know so many people who are jumping over to DSLRs. I'm going to hold off. If the Scarlet doesn't live up to the hype and DSLRs take care of their movement issues, I may jump on as well.

The movement issues are not causing me any problems. I'm doing a shoot on wed with some barrel racers (horses and whatnot).

I'll post footage for you to evaluate...

no, movement of the camera causes moray. Tracking shots, etc.
