TKO313 - No, a few decades older...The case is reissue.
Whaledog, that's cool!
Thanks!

I realized that the specs I found when I searched today were not exactly right.  The bridge pickup is from the custom shop.  I fixed the post above.

My go to guitar is a Epiphone Inspired by 64 Texan. I love it, but I also want a Guild D 40.

8/56 not as original as I would like it to be. I had to refin back in early 90's since someone stripped and rattlecanned it. Neck is all original... it was missing all electronics so pu's are re-issued staggerd poles.
Not bad for a garage sale find!

Not bad at all! I'm working on an SG Special for a client that has the serial #000007. I think it's a 1963 model, but it's so beat there is little left of it's "vintage" value. It'll be a player though!

Thanks! The cool part is not having to worry that it's worth more than my house and I can enjoy it.
Racer that SG serial # sounds kind of strange...almost like it was a special make or very early production. Could it be a '61?
Maybe James Bond owned it! Sounds cool!

Racer X -  I can help, Ponyboy.

I really want to build a 27 inch scale neck guitar with string spacing much like my classical.

warmoth.com has 28.5" scale necks that bolt to a conventional 25.5 body. You can order necks from them 6 or seven string up to 2" nut width.

That would probably do it.

I like this one too. It's the first guitar of this type I ever built, about 1983.

It's a Vermillion(paduak) neck with an ebony fretboard. I veneered flame maple to the headstock to go with the body.

Well. I only have two electrics. My Epi Les Paul Standard, and an Ibanez ART300.

No contest, still love the Epi more.

Today my favorite guitar is my gypsy jazz guitar. It`s a blast to play and has a very nice "Bark" to it.
