I really don't like those hot n readys or too much other commercial pizza (papa johns, pizza hut)

The chain places that I do like are Papa Romanos (MI only) and Hunrry Howies.

I really enjoy the mom and pop shops.  Independent type places.

Oh and the best pizza that I have ever had is Buddy's.  Not your typical carry out joint.  It's an eatery with a bar and shit.  Stuff is so damn good.

Naw, they suck. Pizza Hut and the other chains have the way better product, that's why they are national chains. Why support a mom n pop place when they'll never be a big chain or be national. It's not about the taste, it's about how many customers they serve, thus how much money they make. That's what makes a good pizza.

It doesn't matter that some place in a one light town like Emporium, PA has won the best pizza in the nation title several times. Who cares? Man, gimme Little Ceaser's hot-n-ready any day of the week. You know how many of them they sell for $5 a pop. Hell, even a Tony's. They're in grocery and convenience stores nation wide.
Way better then a pie at some rinky dink place called "buddy's" If Buddy's was good, we could all eat there, thus they must be shitty.

I bet Beezy stayed up for like 2 weeks straight waiting for an opportunity to post that.

All that work and the post still sucked.  Maybe he should go write for TNA.

I didn't have to stay up, bra, I don't sleep. Gave that up decades ago.

And I didn't write that. You did. I just switched wrestling terms with pizza terms. I cold cat copied it. But, you are right about one thing, the subject of it does suck. It's way worse then TNA, it's Hornswoggle-Chavo bad.

Throughout my travels across the country, I'm starting to really appreciate the pizza I grew up on, the south shore MA style bar pizza. Small, with a thin but chewy crust.

There are 3 places near me that do an amazing job at this: Cape Cod Cafe, Christo's, and Lynwood Cafe.

chickenfriedstickers - this place just opened up. like out of nowhere. i go in and see some guy i never saw anywhere before. he said he used to manage mcdonalds and learned so much he decided it was his calling. he went and found a former area manager of a burgerking who taught him he said.

i figure since there were only maybe a few customers it wont last long. the food tastes like compl, ete shit and hardly anyone even cares enough to find out either way.

BUT... you should see that kid cook, he throws every single ingrediant from whatever complete meal you order, stirs it around, does some fancy spins and then throws it at you.

he said since he wont get any business because noone respects the special taste and his way of throwing it at you as apposed to the old school "enjoy your meal a part at a time respecting each entree side etc." hes gonna open his own school and teach other former fast food workers how to cook.

he said if they work hard he has a connection down at the food court.

See, he should have learned to grill. Of course, if he makes it like McD's, he isn't going to have any customers. It's shit. No one likes the taste, it's strictly the brand.

Thanks for backing me up, sticks.

Sans Lubricant -  Well played Beezul. Your analogies were right on the money.

Your "LOL" 17 days prior was good enough to show that you approved.

SO sticx, do you prefer a good tavern bigger in your travels or McD's? Honestly, now.

I love Taco Bell, but mine has a chipotles right next door, and for the extra couple bucks I've been going there.

TTT for pizza! Always gonna be a fan of the thin-crust over any other style. Just had some of the best American-style pizza ever in life the other day at the place right by my BJJ school. Pete's New Haven Style Apizza in DC. Definitely stealing this topping combination for my homemade pies.

The Staven: Pepperoni, italian sausage, roasted garlic, caramelized onions, cherry peppers. 18" Pies too! 16 slices of pure bliss.

My current favorite is the supino from Supino's at Eastern Market in Detroit. Roasted garlic, chili oil, ricotta, red sauce and mozzarella. Super good.

Saluggi's in NYC makes the best vegan pizza I've ever had.

I'll be the first to admit that it's not exactly the same as the animal kind, but it's wonderful in its own way. Now, I just need them to open a location here.
