Hey guys, just wanted to get some opinions from you gun guys. I am debating whether to get a CMMG .22 conversion kit for my M&P 15 or purchase the new M&P 15-22. Ive heard good things about both. What are your opinions?

I'd go with a dedicated rifle. As someone who works at a gun shop, I've seen a few of the conversion kits returned due to not fitting properly.

And I didn't even notice the date of the OP. Whoops.

I have the m&p 15-22. It's a great little gun and great for plinking. I added a 223 carbine scope for longer shooting. I've never had any problems with it and it typically scares the shit out of people because it looks like a weapon of war.
