Ugh. Folds around to me, I'm in the SB with KK. Chip leader is BB. I have 30BBs. I raise 2.5x and he repops it 3x. I Hollywood it a bit and then shove. He calls and turns over A3. the flop: AA3.

I went out in 30th.

Wow thats rough, how big was the BB stack?  it doens't seem like a smart play calling your all in with A3 unless he had a massive stack ( As the Chip Leader I take it that was the case)

Thanks. He had well over 100 BBs. I actually "sold" weakness so well that one of the better players said "good call" to the BB a moment before we turned our cards over.

How can he make that call with A3?  I don't get it.

Vector, the guy was horrible but running like a god. He had just DOUBLED up through a ridiculous call on the turn against someone who had him crushed. He hit a 3 outer on the river and sent the guy packing (he had 10-8 on a Q-J-3-8 board and the other guy shoved 30+BBs on the turn with Q8...9 hit on the river)

Never expect a rich old persian guy to fold an ace, king, or pair.

Not that I wanted a fold, of course. But what a flop. All hope was crushed.
