Anyone made them before? Making some for Easter. Potato and Cheese, and Sauerkraut and onion.

Well, due to time constraints, I made the fillings this past weekend and vacuum sealed them and put in the freezer.

I washed and drained the kraut, hopefully rinsed enough.

The few dough recipes I were looking at had flour, sour cream but also egg. I may try one with egg and one without.

Definitly going to have some kiszka to go with them.

Thanks for the tips. Will let you know how it works out. Looking forward to the pickle recipe when sober.

I find them to be gross.  Tried them twice, never again.

In fact, all polish food is pretty gross to me.

I have plenty of time left!

I also don't like fish, eggs, tomatoes (only in tiny amounts), cole slaw, and a few other things that people go crazy over.

Oh and I like my breakfast sausage with ketchup.

Made about 100 yesterday. Lots of work and took me a bit to get a good system down.

My potatoes were too runny, so it was difficult keeping those sealed while boiling, so ruined quite a bit.

The saurkraut ones much easier. At any rate, they taste great and good experience.
