But Hominick said that UFC president Dana White and matchmaker Joe Silva were thrilled with his performance, and told him that they want him back as soon as he’s healthy — two more wins and he’ll get another crack at the title.

I don't think he ever gets another shot.  The wrestleboxers from 155 are coming.

Would you pick Hominick to beat Tyson Griffin?  I wouldn't.

They don't care if the fighter can win only that there will be a war.

Griffin already got felled by Gomi-cide and Hominick is a much more technical striker than Gomi. I would pick Hominick vs. Tyson any day at 145. Phone Post

 LOLWUT?

I mean I could throw out any of Hominick's losses to counter this, there are plenty of them to choose from, but then I would be stooping to your retarded level of analysis.

I think Mark needs to put on a bit more muscle and really work the TD defence.  He is one of my favorite fighters, but he is going to need favorable matches to get back to a title shot if he cant keep it standing.  Not sure how much weight he cuts, but he always looks small for 145.

He's a tough guy, but he isn't beating Aldo.

I would watch the rematch, but two wins will not be easy as the division is only getting more stacked. Can Mark make 135?

I think he could, he has a small frame and I believe when he fought in TKO he was around 140. He would be a killer at 135

I don't know if Aldo will still be a FW by the time Hominick fights twice.

I doubt the florian nunes winner gets the next shot. If nunes is the winner I mean. They are teammates and dede plus nunes said it would never happen. It'd work out nicely if Kenny won though, which is Jo guarantee. Phone Post

I know he did, dude. He had no choice back then if he wanted to fight in the ufc.

I have met him many times, he has a small frame and is very lean. He's not a big guy - certainly not bigger than Aldo (who is MASSIVE for 145)

Pretty sure Hominick learned a lot from this fight so a rematch might not go down the same way.

Hominick is a 145er. He might be able to reach 135 but he is most comfortable at 145.

Mark stood with Aldo for 5 rounds and gave Aldo more trouble in the 5th than any other fighter ever did. Mark learns from his losses and comes back stronger each time.

A re-match would be great!

When did Griffin become such a force? I would take Hominick over him at 145 as well. He got my respect for hanging tough with the champ yet is still underrated here. I dont think Griffin could survive 5 with Aldo.

That would be a good fight if Hominick could keep it on the feet.
