I started reading this book a few days ago, it's entertaining as hell, but I was wondering.  How true can this 550 page book written from the memories of an extreme drug addict who is quite old?

It's v detailed....I'm almost finished the audiobook (As Read by Keith Richards AND Johnny Depp!)

Without giving anything away he did keep diaries which he alludes to.

T'was a good listen but IMO not in the league of other Rock Bio's ie Slash/Anthony keidis/Motley Crew or Aerosmyth, but still good!

I purchased this book and read about 300 pages and then grew bored. Too many irrelevant details. I put it down for a week and came back to it, and couldn't remember the details of what I had read prior. I will reread it eventually, but it could've been shorter.
A great book though, IMO.
