This is my first time cutting weight so i'm a bit new to this all. When you cut weight via dieting, cardio, etc  is it natural to have shortness of breath? It's not awful but certainly noticeable. I'm an ex-smoker with about 5 months of smoke free life. If it is weight cutting related how long does it normally last? Like when I weigh-in and get my weight back to normal will it return back to normal or does it take a few days?  Thanks in advance.

How long did you smoke? Five months is not that long also if you have been trying to exercise. I work at a smoking cessation center so I would like to be of help if you want. Congrats on quitting. Not sure about the weight problem but I know since you are trying a new life style that is part of it.
