Monsters Ball - I'm not sure yet. I need to see Dallas against the younger quicker OKC guys to make that call. The sluggish Lakers weren't a good test of where Dallas really is.

So..The Portland series wasn't any indication?

Sweeping the 2x defending NBA champs was no indication?

The reality is that OKC is a way different team than Miami.

OKC has a strong shooting big in Durant so maybe you could consider that a wash with Bosh. However, Westbrook is a slashing point guard that creates his own points by driving to the basket.

Miami doesn't have any pg that can do this. Wade and Lebron can sometimes play point for brief moments but for the most part they are just guys that go into iso and try to make something happen.

This wouldn't be easy against Dallas because Chandler makes his money by shutting these types of plays down. Marion's length has given Miami fits all year as well. The only advantage Miami has now is that Caron Butler will not be there to defend as well.

I'm not referring to you directly. I'm referring to the consensus that Miami is the team to beat. They are less proven than Dallas with this roster. Dallas has vets that have extensive playoff experience. Between Dirk, Kidd, Peja, Marion, and Terry the Mavs have alot of players that are hungry for a title with the experience to do it.

Miami isn't a bad team. I just dont think anyone who thinks they are the best team in the playoffs have watched their games against teams like Dallas.

If Chicago plays anywhere near the way they played tonight for the next three games you can take out the broom to sweep LeBron's talents back to the locker room. If LeBron wasn't getting any sleep the night before the game he certainly isn't getting any leading up to game two.

Amazing how people chose to ignore the Bulls sweeping Miami in the regular season, brushing it off because hey.....it's just the regular season afterall. So come playoff time Bulls beat Miami by 21 and now it's all like "this series hasn't begun yet". lol, just face it, Miami consists of three players and a bunch of ring chasers....LeBron being both.

Boston went 3-0 against Miami also in the regular season.

Regular season isn't playoffs.
A even halfway healthy Boston team sweeps the Heatles nine times out of ten.

Both the Heat and the Bulls success is heavily dictated by the reffing.

The Bulls want the game called as loosely as possible, which allows them to play the aggressive man D.

The Heat want the game called tight, which will let James and Wade rack up 30 pts from the FT line, and get the opposing team's bigs in foul trouble.

The one ace up Chicago's sleeve is Rose, who also benefits from tightly called games.

I still like Miami to win, because they can score a lot more consistently than Chicago (don't let one game fool you) but the Bulls have a good chance.

Chicago keeps Miami in a half court offense. Thats why they beat them and why Boston got worked. Miami has no half court offense. None. If you don't try to run on them, you limit their fast breaks and keep the tempo at a speed that is crippling for the Heat.

In a half court set, Miami hasn't shown anything all year. Bosh is the only player on the Heat that even has a half court game, really. Wade and Lebron looked lost.
