I record his program because I find him entertaining and sometimes has decent analysis but he seems to be falling deeper into the pit of religious zealotry mixed with his Mormon beliefs and conspiracy politics. I usually watch the monologue and if its something history related, I'll watch it. I enjoyed when he was focusing on the founding fathers. Now he is just going Religious end time scenario basically implying that this administration is ushering in the end of days. Plus he gives props tto John Hagee which is turning me off big time. The man who wants to be general Patton riding the tanks against Islam in his shiny helmet.

Anyone here watch the guy ? I really think he is losing it.

I sometimes watch for a bit while flipping through channels, but it quickly becomes intollerable. He talks to the audience like they are ten year olds which I find insulting.

I like Beck. He provides good historical analysis around such topics as planned parenthood (racists) unions (racists), the black founding fathers (expunged by Wilson, a racists, etc.)

The man is unhinged oddball. It is amusing to watch Jon Stewart own him on such a regular and total basis.

The "Glenn Beck has Nazi tourettes" was probably the best sketch.

His popularity is indicative that previously fringe conspiracy theories have now become mainstream right wing Republican thought.

Jon Stewart is a liberal funny man whose station is partly funded by marxist George Soros. He doesn't "own" people, he likes to take a little snippet out of context and then create a completely different story around it.

My funniest Jon Stewart ownage is when he was O'Reilly and was complaining about how the "apparatus of Fox doesn't allow diverse voices". I mean, here's a guy from a completely liberal channel, on Fox, advocating a diverse view.

It was rich irony.

Joe Ray, the conspiracy theories seem to be coming true around our eyes. Global economies in trouble, middle east burning, the world positioning itself against israel, the move to a one world currency.

The 'Marxist' George Soros is a hedge fund billionaire who has made his fortune from ruthlessly exploiting money and markets.

What have you ever done to rival his capitalist achievments?

I suggets you take your vile jew-hating sentiment elsewhere.

Fox on the other hand is part owned by Saudi Arabian Islamic fundamentalists, who are also responsible for exporting hardline Wahbissm Islam across all corners of the globe.

George Soros is like most marxist. He believes that on the animal farm we are "all equal" some are just "more equal". He is "more equal". The socialist and marxists like him live high on the horse, they manipulate markets, they manipulate currency, they steal and redistribute and they ride high above the damage they wrought or desire for others.

George Soros is actively working to undermine our constitution to create a marxist "paradise"

I didn't know he was Jewish and I suspect that from your liberal rants you speak out of both parts of your mouth?

You support Obama's sell out of Israel? Do you find Israel to be the problem in the Middle East? I actually put my money where my mouth is and support Jewish people in Israel.

It's a nice try. It's a typical liberal rhetorical device.."oh homophobe, oh jew hater, oh rascist...." all the while you know how you subdivide people into groups and your own hatred for Christianity and Jews.

Wonder why Saudi Arabia is allowing Fox to do all these anti radical islam stories and pro Israel stories. Weird...

Looks like I hit a nerve with your Jon Stewart man crush getting embarrassed on Fox and Soros who should be frog marched to jail for actively working as an enemy of the state.

TTT for marxist, anti-capitalist hedge fund billionaires.

Warren Buffet and Bill Gates have also expressed support for liberal ie. marxist policies.

Down with radical anti-capitalist socialists like Gates, Buffet and Soros!

Yeah, but one network is called Comedy Central and the other is called FOX NEWS and has the slogan FAIR AND BALANCED.

yeah, except that one of the political satirist is actually taken serious as a youth oriented political sage/jester. He interviews some pretty elite members of the political class, and he defends his position on other channels.

Let's not minimize his impact on the political scene.

Soros hates Jews. The best years of his life were 1944 when his own people were being slaughtered by nazi's. He ran around stealing their property. He loved it. He changed his name from it's jewish family name.

“70% of Mr. Soros’s fellow Jews in Hungary , nearly a half-million human beings, were annihilated in that year, yet he gives no sign that this put any damper on his elation, either at the time or indeed in retrospect.”

During an interview with “Sixty Minute’s” Steve Kroft, Soros was asked about his “best year:”

KROFT: My understanding is that you went out with this protector of yours who swore that you were his adopted godson.

SOROS: Yes. Yes.

KROFT: Went out, in fact, and helped in the confiscation of property from your fellow Jews, friends and neighbors.

SOROS: Yes. That’s right. Yes.

KROFT: I mean, that sounds like an experience that would send lots of people to the psychiatric couch for many, many years. Was it difficult?

SOROS: Not, not at all. Not at all, I rather enjoyed it.

KROFT: No feeling of guilt?

SOROS: No, only feelings of absolute power.

He hates the US.

“The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States .” George Soros

He's maniacal. He has these weird messianic (demonic) visions of destroying and remaking countries under his own twisted views.

"Over the years, Soros has given voice to this sense of grandiosity many times and in a variety of different ways. In his 1987 book The Alchemy of Finance, for instance, he wrote: "I admit that I have always harbored an exaggerated view of self-importance?to put it bluntly, I fancied myself as some kind of god or an economic reformer like Keynes or, even better, a scientist like Einstein."3 Expanding on this theme in his 1991 book Underwriting Democracy, Soros said: "If truth be known, I carried some rather potent messianic fantasies with me from childhood," fantasies which "I wanted to indulge … to the extent that I could afford."4 In a June 1993 interview with The Independent, Soros, who is an atheist,5 said he saw himself as "some kind of god, the creator of everything."6 In an interview two years later, he portrayed himself as someone who shared numerous attributes with "God in the Old Testament" ? "[Y]ou know, like invisible. I was pretty invisible. Benevolent. I was pretty benevolent. All-seeing. I tried to be all-seeing."7 Soros told his biographer Michael Kaufman that his "goal" was nothing less ambitious than "to become the conscience of the world" by using his charitable foundations,8 which will be discussed at length in this pamphlet, to bankroll organizations and causes that he deems worthwhile."

There's plenty more. Soros is evil. Pure evil and he's actively working to undermine the US to create a new global govt. He says so.

Pure evil man, and backing up the democrats with his shadow govt. He should be tried as an enemy of the US.

Anyone who would care enough about their fellow citizens to actually pay a little extra tax to ensure that people don't go homeless, hungry or be able to receive medical treatment is a socialist in Rooster's book. Phone Post

We have all these programs and people are still homeless, people are still hungry, and there are still people who do not receive expensive medical treatments. Yet, the U.S. spends more on entitlement programs than anything else in the budget, including defense - and is $14 trillion in debt. Unemployment hovers at the double digits. Where is the money supposed to come from to pay down the debt and continue paying entitlements at these levels? Even reducing the defense budget to zero will not cover it.

Where do you draw the line at providing medical treatment? What standard of living is the minimum required to be provided to a person who cannot provide for themselves?

Perhaps the issue is with your system of politics - where politicians are more interested in staying in power - and so are more interested in short term wins for their constituents than for the country as a whole. Getting rid of pork-barreling as a way to get politicians to agree to a Bill would be a great start. Phone Post

In Australia, if a politician doesn't vote along party lines that politician would be kicked out of the party. The effect of this is that the party can make the right policy decision without giving "bribes" to individual member's constituents. So less pork-barreling, more effective policy and the effectively cheaper policy. I understand the Republican party is more disciplined than the Democrats but it is still an issue for both sides. Fair enough. But, I've seen him lampoon democrats many times (well deserved) and he was pretty hard on Obama as well when he was a guest on the show.

As far as where do you draw the line - essentially you are saying that if you are poor (for whatever reason, be it bad luck, cannot pay medical bills, or just dumb) you should not expect society to care for you. Is that really a society that you want to live in?

What I don't understand is why people think it is okay for private business to profit from people's ill-health. There is such an obvious conflict of interest between a business trying to maximize its profit and the welfare of its members.

For all the talk of an egalitarian society, your country is heartless as can be seen by Rooster's posts and others on this site.

An interesting piece of information I picked up in the Sam Harris book was that political conservatives could be characterized by a general discomfit with societal change, and a ready acceptance of social inequity.

This was reinforced by a study done on 23,000 people in twelve countries that correlated the above with dogmatism , inflexibility, death anxiety, need for closure, and anti-correlated with openness to experience, cognitive complexity, self-esteem and social stability.

Sounds like Rooster doesn't it?
