Bart Palaszewski is out of his UFC 130 bout with Gleison Tibau due to injury, said Dana White today. Coming off a four-fight win streak, Rafaello “Tractor” Oliveira has verbally agreed to make his UFC return and face Tibau in a lightweight battle of Brazilian-born BJJ black belts.

Palaszewski was originally slated to fight TUF standout Cody McKenzie, but an injury sidelined the guilliotine specialist two weeks ago.

Despite all the hits this card is taking, its still got some matchups that could be great fights (mir v nelson, struve v brown, alves v story, hammilll v page)

Is this going to be the trend now?

If one fighter pulls out due to injury, the 2nd fighter is going to pull out claiming injury as well?

In Bart's defense, that is not what happened to him. He was more excited about Gleison than Cody. He saw Gleison as a real fighter instead of a reality show product, and he respected that. He was really desperate to make his UFC debut.

Bart is a friggin warrior, I can easily see him overdoing it. He's not the kind of guy to fake an injury.
