“It’s all up to Royler, I already agreed to the match, but 5 days after Royler agreed to the match he then decided to ask for 50k just to show up. So basically he changed his mind about the match, it sounds like he doesn’t want to do it, he even admitted in a recent interview that he was pressured into taking the match, that he didn’t want to do it but agreed to do it from pressure”.

“Royler is a legend, no style has a big advantage against someone like him who has been training under the grandmaster Helio his whole life" said Bravo of a potential advantage that his exclusively training in no go might provide. "Maybe a little advantage but not big."

Hey Eddie, if 5 days later ADCC told you they were only paying you $1000 are you still taking the fight?

I think the point missing is Royler probably agreed to take the fight....if the price was right.

If Dana tells Royce, ok you're on UFC Rio against Hughes, but im only paying you $50k. You think Royce will say, ok sure.... Dont think so.

Royler agreed and expected a professional contract and offer. ADCC acted like amateurs so the guy doesn’t want to waste his time.

Eddie is coming off like a bitch.

Was he sitting in the room with Royler?
How the FUCK does Eddie know how conversations went down with Royler and the guys from ADCC? Royler agreed before they discussed dollars, he verbally agreed, verbal agreements are a mile away from a signed fight, in any sport.

lions-d - leo veira called you out

Eddie didn't go around calling Leo's win 'luck' so I don't know why Leo would bother challenging him.

Royler DID call Eddie's win 'luck' and then made no effort to set the record straight. Eddie however did.

But if Royler doesn't want to fight, let it go. It's on him.

He didn't use the word luck, he made 100 excuses about how tired he was though.

Did Royler use the word luck?

He used the word fluke.

fluke
n
1. an accidental stroke of luck

You pedantic cunt.

Was it not?
Is Eddie a multiple time BJJ champion and ADCC champion?
Or did he win one big match his entire career then retire to cash in?

New to critical thinking and forming logical conclusions?

Keep practicing.

way to dodge the questions.

Is Buster Douglas a better boxer than Mike Tyson?
No.

Flukes happen.

It's been stated a million times already.  The ADCC isn't the UFC, there are no negotiated contracts and their never have been.  They invite you, then you come or stay your ass home.  Royler knew this before they offered him the match.

Musashi - The problem isn't that he wouldn't accept. It's that he backed out after accepting.

He verbally accepted, before knowing the details.

Thats like if I offer you a job and you say yeah,
then when we talk pay, you decide its not worth it.

Verbally agreement doesn't = start selling a match.

ADCC failed here.

NOTHING at all is ever signed?

Seemed idiotic.

Ever been to a grappling torunament?
It ain't the UFC with 3 fight contracts and show/win money.
Everyone knows what they're getting beforehand. No 'negotiations'.

I can't speak for Eddie, but I think he'd do it for free just to prove to himself and everyone else that the first win was no fluke. It'd be a huge feather in the cap for his no-gi style of Jiu Jitsu.
Sorry bro! I guarantee Eddie aint doing shit for free! If so he would tell ADCC to offer Royler his purse for show money. Phone Post
