Fedor Emelianenko is doing his final preparations for his bout with Dan Handerson in small Rusian town called Kislodovsk. It's situated between the Black and Caspian Seas. He recently made up with his brother Alexander after long period that this two haven't even spoken to each other. Since he lost his two last fights, Fedor decided to change lot of things in his life, and he decided to start training with his brother Alexander again  - like they did in their prime.

Our sources tell us that both of the fighters are in great shape. Specially Alexander who lost some weight and looks really sharp. Fedor is also satisfied that he made up with his brother because this thing bothered him for a long time. Now he is lot calmer than he was before fights with Silva and Werdum."

Good stuff. Wonder if the youngest brother trains with him as well from time to time? Can't remember his name right now though. Phone Post

His brother is good for stand up training, but I dont see much benefit from a grappling perspective. Having said that, I think Fedor is going to kill Hendo. No way Fedor loses this fight.

I'll ask the obvious question: why did the brothers fall out with each other? I never heard about that.

In a country full of world class wrestlers and boxers. He chooses Aleks to prepare for Hendo. Great idea.

Hep situations tend not to "clear up".
Last I heard Kizer say/write was that Aleks was in the unusual situation of having to prove that he does NOT have the hep before he can get sanctioned.

Aleks has not done so.

Fedor is taking things seriously I see

He has even admitted in the past that Aleksander is the more talented fighter and athlete of the two.

Aleksander has many haters, thats how you know he is one of the best

Why is Fedor fighting Hendo? Is it for the lightweight belt?

The fight just doesn't make much sense. He was the GOAT and now he's fighting a smaller man. Why?

That's fine if they were the same weight class. They're not.

It's like saying Fedor's not good enough for the heavies anymore but he can't make 205, so we'll do this instead.

If Fedor wins, so what he beat a smaller guy and Dan keeps his belt.

If Dan wins, great, but what does it do? Put him a step closer to a heavyweight belt?

Horrible post. Alex has long been an extremely talented fighter with some of the best hands in the HW division. He also holds wins over Assuerio Silva, Carlos Barreto, Eric Pele(who ko'd Bigfoot) and a knockout win over Sergei Kharitonov. Not to mention a close tough fight with Josh Barnett in which Alex won the first round.

(Waits for typical "lol at those HWs" nonsense response.)
