One Fighting Championship announced some more information regarding the broadcasting of their line up.  As we had reported earlier, the brand will be aired on ESPN STAR throughout Asia in some 500 million homes.  Additionally, MediaCorp Channel 5 will be broadcasting the event in home base Singapore.

The organization has also planned a reality series entitled, ONELife.  The other two events are the ONE National Qualifier Series and of course, One Fighting Championship.

The organization plans to bring their fights into every major city in Asia, something that no one has done before.

As more details come to us, we will be filling you in.  Stay tuned!

i live here in asia and it is a HUGELY INSANE roster. some of those guys are the equivalent of michael jordans like namsaknoi and anuwat - holy cow. i can't wait to see them in the cage. their striking makes anderson silva look like a kindergartner.

Good to see Ole Laursen in the mix. This is like UFC 1 all over again. Grapplers will dominate.

What's really interesting is that this exactly what i suggested, many times, on this and other forums.

Style-vs-Style, champions from all over SE Asia, and in an event in Singapore.

I know some of you recall it...?

Also recently posted it on my FB Rankings fan page.

 Also forgot to add....

Bas Rutten has been picked to do the commentary for the OneFC organization sources close to MMA-JAPAN have confirmed.  Rutten has commentated numerous events since retiring from his gig as a fighter.  Most notably the Pride organization, Rutten has also done commentary for DREAM, and many other smaller organizations.  Rutten is also the host of HDNet's "Inside MMA".

This is an excellent move for OneFC to bring Rutten in.  In an age where there are very few decent commentators, Rutten is one that knows the sport and does well connecting with the fan base.

More announcements to come very soon.
