US SPORTS MMA is starting developmental leagues throughout the country. We are looking for affiliate schools and League Masters ( TO RUN THEIR OWN LEAGUES) the purpose of this national organization is to develop and prepare MMA enthusiasts for competition. SPORT MMA tournements have begun in Florida and nationally. Be a part of this growing trend at the ground floor. Our partners are looking for qualified schools to help implement a training regiment that is consistent and uses all elements of MMA that prepare our young compatitors. This is the FIRST AND ONLY league of its kind. We have the plan to help you develop this. Join us and help this sport develop properly. Its a win win for schools and league administers. for info

no this is the league.. where you compete.. you train in your gym or school then come compete at the league sites.. much like the tourny that we go to.. think of this as developmental league like football and baseball.. the competition team like travel..

Fromt he site: "MMA is sweeping the nation and the new Sport Version is sure to take the nation and Florida. Every corner it seems to have a place for students to learn MMA but where do they have an opportunity to compete?"

isnt there an ammy show every weekend now? How is this different than 100 other shows? Not stirring the pot, just honestly curious.

Great question actually. This is a developmental LEAGUE where competitions occur weekly. all ages welcome to compete and Develop technique and skills. Lately anyone with a blood test jumps in an amatuer fight prepared or not.every sport has a developmental league.. hockey, baseball, football, lacrosse, boxing and wrestling gives all the opportunity to develop and compete. This is a way to support our sport and develop proper knowledge. thanks for asking. im sure there are lots of others with similiar concerns or ideas..

so is this approved by the state of florida boxing commission?
it seems too much like ammy mma to not have to meet with their approval and be legal?

valid question.. this is part of US SPORT MMA LEAGUE.. a recreational/developmental league and is much like mma classes given in schools that involve sparring, sparring occurs in taekwondo, boxing and karate, with the exception this implements saftey we also do not charge spectators in the leagues. this is well organized and a benefit to this SPORT as a whole. MMA is the only sport currently that does not have something in place ;like this until now. We need thes support of all that want to help grow this sport. Who knows maybe one day we can see it in the olympics or collegiate level..
