Sometimes in life you got to take the good with the bad. Parisyan claims that he is sick of the drama, and just wants to move forward. His next step forward be a fight against legendary Japanese fighter Kazushi Sakuraba under the Dream banner in September.

“I don’t like the drama. I’m sick of the drama because it follows you. Whatever you say people take it any way they can, they talk about it you know? I let go of my past. A lot of the stupid stuff that happened I let go of it.

“I need people to try and look forward with what I’m trying to do right now. Let them go based off of how he was in his last fight, ‘oh he was bad, okay good, let’s see him in his next fight,’ because God willing I could fight Sakuraba at the 24th of September in Dream. So, I got a lot of stuff a head of me.”

If you haven't, (re)watch Karo vs. Diego Sanchez, that was a great fight. I just watched it, tonight, before I saw this thread. All I could say to myself when watching it was,

"Where'd Karo go????"

This whole statement is a trip.
I like Karo and I always have, but this guy needs some serious counseling.

Weird fight, but I'll no doubt be watching it if confirmed.

agreed.

when karo hit the scene he was Amazing!!!!!! beautiful technique and tough as nails. It sucks seeing him fall on hard times these past years. He had the skill and talent to be a contender. I wish him the best and hope he can get his shit finally together. I always loved watching him fight

I remeber seeing footage of a recent Karo fight in London Ontario, he looked really good even though he lost. Lots of throws.

Young Karo had crazy potential... a true danger to many grapplers because of his unorthodox style. He is close to becoming a Kerr story imo.

Of all his taped up body parts, I always figured his knee was going to blow out first. So I have to change that to next.

Sakuraba just needs to hang up the mask.

Weird fight. Karo seems so far gone from what he use to be and Sakuraba just shouldn't be fighting anymore.

UPDATE:
According to Parisyan’s managers at Apex Sports Agency, the one time UFC fighter will now fight at Amazon Forest Combat in Brazil on Sept 14 against Jordan Smith. According to sources, Kazushi Sakuraba may not be ready in time for the upcoming Dream card, and Parisyan wanted to stay busy and opted for the fight for Brazil instead.

I was never a fan of his.  He had some great fights for sure though.  I thought he got a gift in the Diaz fight.  He is definitely a mess in the head.  hopefully he pulls through and gets back on track.  I love rooting against him but it's not as fun in his current state.
