It's on my profile here, but I'll tell you anyway.
Dave Stone. Started training in '97 with Pat Miletich.
When I moved to Indiana, trained with Jason Godsey and Chris Lytle etc. When my fighting career ended due to injury, I got involved in the training and managing of fighters. Then got licensed as a ref and judge and have worked the UFC. Phone Post

Thanks Dave for responding. Jason and Chris were involved with my Kombat Zone events back in mid 90's. We are not opponents on MMA issues, we simply have different views based on our experiences.

Some promoters, and training centers in Indiana are out of business because of the regulations, this bothers me. I and a few others were consulted, and the state ignored our recommendations, which has resulted in a loss of fight shows and mma/karate businesses.

I agree, but to be fair, some deserved to be put out if business. I don't agree with everything that sanctioning has brought, but on the whole it has been good for the state of MMA in Indiana, and safer for the fighters. Phone Post

Guys,

None of our fighting careers ever really end! We're just waiting for the right offer.............. then, we'll think about training....... : )

True Jeff! Heck i went from tkd to open karate, to reality cop training, to mma and all around the entire spectrum.

I agree some bad promoters got pushed out...and yes we will evolve.

Some promotions did need gov to tell them what was needed, because their only concern was their pocket . Phone Post
