MMA Fighting recently caught up with veteran Pedro Rizzo at the Team Nogueira Training Center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. "The Rock" talked about the atmosphere at UFC Rio, Anderson Silva's performance against Yushin Okami, his desire to get one last shot in the UFC and the charity work he does in Brazil.

I love the Rock, and he is a true warrior, but his time is past. He has little to no chance of getting another shot in the UFC. But i would love for him to prove me wrong and string a few wins together.

I wish him the best, the guy at one point of his career was the scariest guy in his division. He's a terrific coach, ever since Anderson has been training with him - Anderson has looked phenomenal (to clarify) he started training with him before 126. The guy doesn't need to prove anything, he's a legend of the game. Hopefully the UFC can get him in the new video game, and let's leave it at that.

Will never happen...

He got brutally KO'ed by a guy who recently went 0-3 in the UFC (Yvel). I don't think he has beaten anyone that would warrant a shot back in the ufc?

I would honestly love to see Pedro make one last solid run but I just don't think it is possible.
It sucks too because at one point he was a very dangerous heavyweight but he didn't have the killer instinct.
Still has my respect and deserves credit for his past accomplishments.

he hasn't been knocked out too many times, but the ones he got were BROOTAL! also has taken alot of hard shots and has had years of hard sparring and training.

I hope he can get back in the cage. He was one of my favorite fighters but I don't see it happening.

He's the Pele of the Heavyweights.

Barnett said it best "He takes a shot to give a shot and you can't withdraw from that account for too long"

Even back in the day when he was training in Amsterdam he tried to make a phone call home, but could not remember his phone number from being concussed, and that was before his UFC run.

His fight with Big Daddy and Shammy he looked real slow, his striking was good but still looked slower then usual and was still doing the frankenstein arms forward defence.
