The reality of an absolutely atrocious market. I am sorry that you had this situation thrust upon you; in any other generation, or decade, you'd be more than able to find a legal job. I'm glad to hear you don't have much debt, though.

The law school debate. This NEVER gets old to me for some reason.

I have a legal job and am getting good experience, but it is nowehre near the area of law I want to be in. Feeling "thankful" for a job that I put in so much hard work is interesinting in and of itself.

Truthfully, I didn't go to law school dreaming of biglaw; my goal was simply to get a professional degree that I could leverage into a better job than what I was able to land with my bachelors in history (shoulda majored in business econ).

Being a law prof is a 24/7 job (twenty-four hours a week, seven months a year), and some of them don't have a T14 JD.
