hell of a run .

I wish he would continue because he could still improve as a heavyweight .

man of his word though and I can respect that .

I'm sure he will be very successful in whatever he does , if it was me I would just lay on a beach somewhere and chill .

UK fighters seem to be setting a decent example for getting out of the game before it's too late . Lennox , Calzaghe , Hatton , Haye .

maybe a tad early for Haye but he's obviously won a belt and realised that's as far as he can go .

fair play . Phone Post

Its Haye - he could be gaming for all we know but he always dsaid he would do this.

Shame as he still has a lot to give to the division.

He would still smash Adamek and a revenge win over Solis would be a perfect couple of fights before a Vitali fight where he goes balls out(which he would lose).

Would be shit to retire on the Wlad fight

He has made millions but he could make many more by fighting on.

He will not make more money doing anything else. I think he has plans on being some sort of action movie actor.

He'll get bit parts in some crap UK films and will come back to boxing soon.

The performance against Wlad was embarassing and the toe excuses afterwards were bush league. If that is all he has to offer then he's better off leaving the sport.

you know he's a prideful guy, so if he goes in there and gives it his all and shocks vitali then he gets another shot at wlad. you know he was embarrassed by his last showing

He fought like he barely had a pulse in that fight and then made excuses afterwards. I don't see what is so prideful about that. He had his boot off before Merchant got to him to show him his bad toe. Then made excuses and the bad part is he went around bugging Wlad and Vitali in public everywhere they went. Then he pulls that stunt. He doesn't deserve another shot. He needs to earn it.
