I think there was a thread on this a while back. Got pretty big. Maybe about a year ago.

 ;)

Just busing balls, LOVE my crockpot.

However, I am lazy and don't want to type out anything except lame ass jokes.

I caramelized a bunch of onions & garlic the night before last, then mixed them with dijon mustard, beef stock, bay leaves, & coriander seed. Put it in the fridge overnight, then put it in the crockpot with some country style spareribs before I left for work. Strained the meat & onions, then de-fatted & reduced the leftover liquid, finishing it with some more dijon. Shit was yummy Phone Post

Cbass -  I have this going in the slowcooker right now

10 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 diced onion
1 can black beans (Rinsed and Drained)
1 can Hominy (Rinsed and Drained)
1 can Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
2 cups Mild Chunky Salsa

Put diced onion in bottom of slowcooker, Placed Chx thighs on top and poured everything else on top...
Smells Great

How does this turn out. Like a stew? Are you supposed to eat it with tortillas on the side?

No, it's perfect. I do drain the corn & beans before putting them in the crockpot though.

I use "Newman's Own" brand salsa, btw.

I also make a sweet & sour chicken. Dice up an onion, add a bottle of ketchup, half a bottle of water, and brown sugar & cider vinegar to taste. You can also add canned pineapple and/or cherries (I don't). Add chicken breasts and cook. Serve over white rice. Phone Post

All I have to offer is the pulled pork mix I get from Wal-Mart in the seasoning packet section. You put a 3lb pork roast in with:

1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cider vinegar
seasoning packet

Cook on low 8hrs or high 4hrs. The take roast out and shred it. Put meat back in pot and mix with juice.

Awesome!
