1 lb seasoned taco meat, 2 small or 1 big can of Hormel chili with no beans, 2 jars of Frito-medium nacho cheese.

Throw em in and let the pot crock. This dip is very good for parties but we have found it best to get the little 'boat' containers for serving. We also have a nacho cheese machine like at 7-11 and with the dip, you can't go wrong serving this at a party. Phone Post

Try my chicken thigh recipe...

Chicken thighs, beer, jar of green salsa, garlic, chilis, chili powder, cumin, some onions, salt pepper. Season with more salt to taste at the end.

I am finding a lot of things need more salt at the end.

I am finding a lot of things need more salt at the end.

thats the issue i am having with the slowcooker...  a lot of the stuff turns out pretty bland.
im trying something new today
im making carnitas right now... the way i did it was i got a pork tenderloin (2.5 lbs), and seasoned it with cumin, salt, pepper, coriander, and garlic and seared it on all sides for a few minutes. i put that in the crockpot with 1 bottle of beer, 1 coarsely chopped onion, and the juice of 1 orange.
i have that going for 6 hours. then i am going to remove the pork and shred it.
in the blender,i put 1 can of lime and cilantro diced tomatoes, juice of 1 lime, salt, pepper, 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, onion, coriander, and cumin and blended that.
i am going to put the shredded pork in a cast iron skillet and crisp it up a little and add the blended stuff.
hopefully this turns out good... will post results later

Yeah, I noticed the lack of salt big time the last few times I have cooked in it. I just took to re-seasoning again near the end of cooking.

That sounds delicious, I'll be over in 15.

I usually get a pork roast or a beef roast.

I spray my crock pot with cooking spray to help prevent sticking.

I rub the roast with my favorite rub, Squeal.

I put a bit of BBQ sauce on the bottom of my pot. Put the roast in and add about a half cup more of sauce to the top of the roast and cook on low for 8-9 hours.

The end result is delicious and tender pulled beef or pork.

savage animal - ^Awesome!

This is what I'm looking for, something incredibly simple but that doesn't include ketcup or other additive heavy ingredients.
Solution? Name your own additive free condiments. I make big batches of ketchup, hot sauce & bbq sauce that last like 6-9 months. <img src="/images/phone/droid.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>

right on, very cool. Not a big condiments guy myself, but I like your style

Do those liners make any difference on the finished project? I keep seeing em at the store and would love the help with clean up but I wonder...

One beef or pork roast, 1 jar banana peppers, salt, pepper. Pour banana peppers and juice over meat. Cook. Cum in pants while eating. Phone Post

sounds bomb and easy to make. thanx!!! <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>
Yeah it didn't turn out very good... I wouldn't recommend <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/>

LOL, this one did sound pretty gross. I like the carnitas recipe you made the other day. I don't know why I haven't been throwing OJ in there when I make mine, since I usually do this when I marinade steak for fajitas.

Got this roast one now. Underneath there is 4 cloves chopped garlic, 1 chopped green pepper, 1 chopped red onion, and a can of green chiles. I added red wine, OJ, rice wine vinegar, liquid smoke, large can of diced tomatos, a drained can of corn, seasoned with wasabi powder, ginger, garlic powder, thyme, black and white pepper, salt, mint, ginger, and cilantro. Now I wait....

Okay, so I made the Korean Tacos recipe. I was making them for my Daytona party yesterday, and I don't like surprises, so I made them the weekend before to test them out. They were very good, but there was something missing in the topping area. So I created an Asian Coleslaw recipe (links to new win/tab). It goes awesomely with said tacos.

I'm like 90% sure there was an asian coleslaw/cabbage recipe right under the korean tacos recipe on the original page the guy linked... I used less brown sugar in my recipe because they came out too sweet the first time. How'd yours fare?

I also made them on Saturday and we bought some fried chicken in commemoration of Bendo's impending victory!
