What are your go to smoothie recipes? I've been eating pretty cleanly for the last couple of weeks and working out regularly. I am trying to lose weight and inches (and succeeding!) Looking for something that I can make for breakfast and/or post-workout.

Try the BJ Penn morning shake. Look it up on YouTube. Whenever I'm gonna grab a shake I always make this. Haven't made one in a while though. Phone Post

Thanks for sharing! That one seems simple enough.

Anyone else got something good?

I was so sure Leigh's response would be choc. milk PWO, haha

good to know I've been doing it wrong, not grinding my oats first before adding the rest, THANKS BJ!

I'm going to try frozen spinach in a shake, keep it healthy, clean, and inexpensive, like w/berries.

Anybody use any other greens in shakes besides kale&spinach?

acai
raw cacao nibs or powder
watermelon
chia seeds
vanilla or unflavored protein powder
wheat germ
smallest amount of water needed to blend

tastes amazing...lots of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. plus i think its pretty well balanced with fiber, protein, healthy fats and some carbs(very low sugar, only from the watermelon).

Damn my friend made me a smoothie with spinach, peanut butter and a few other things. Almond milk I remember. It was surprisingly good. I'll post the recipe tomorrow

BTW, I have a huge chocolate milk fetish and usually enjoy some after a good workout. Is there any way to incorporate that into a smoothie?! LOL

Usually just 1-2 spoonfuls

Depends on how I'm feeling about my calories for the day...if I think I'm a little low, I'll put in 2-3 spoonfuls. If I'm normal, 1 spoonful.
