Dbulletproof - Finally got round to buying this game.

I'm only a few hours in and I feel like a small potato. I'm a Kajit, dirt poor and just killed my first dragon through pure luck.

Any hints/tips/recommendations you guys can throw my way?

First tip. Dont be the dirty cat people. Be an orc.

Second tip. Search evry nook and cranny you can and if theres only 2 gold in a pot, take it, itll add up fast. Go mining alot and save all your ores so when you have the skill to make good armour youll have more than enough Phone Post

What's wrong with the cat?

Thanks for the tips man.

Way too much going on for me I don't know where to start!

Winterfell Solitude Riften Markarth you can houses in.
Then the dlc ones are located north of Winterfell, between Winterfell and falkreath, and near dawnstar in the north.

This my second play through bc my first got corrupted. I ram through the side quest achievements that i didn't finish the first time before starting the dlc. That was enough to get me to 55. Phone Post

Lol!

Best advice is to do one of the main group quests first.
The College, Thieves guild, Companions, these will give you a good set of gear to start and a ton of gold.

Personally I go thieves guild then college so I can grind enchanting. Its stupid easy with access to the college and the quantity of cheap soul gems. Phone Post

Hah ya I think its windhelm and winterhold in the northeast. I'm lvl 24 and just got blacksmithing to 80 so I'm set on gear. Anyone else just build iron daggers over and over? And threw a bunch in the box in my whiterun house so I can enchant them later. Phone Post

That's the way to do it. Level up Smithing and Enchanting together, be 100 in both in no time, and then when you are double-enchanting Legendary armor the rest of the game becomes easy mode.

Right on. I had to turn the difficulty up on my first playthrough. Is there an armor set in any of the dlc that compares to legendary double enchanted daedric armor? I didn't like the looks of the dragon armor, on my first playthrough, so I stuck with daedric. But then I never found any upgrades the rest of the game. Phone Post

Been playing this game for about a week now. One of the first things I did was get my blacksmithing and enchanting up as much as quickly as possible.

Creates gear specifically to boost my blacksmithing up to insane levels and then created some super bad ass Daedric swords that do over 300 damage each with one-handed enchanting perks on my Dragon Bone armor.

Not so tough now, are you, you fucking Draugr Death Lords? Huh? You thought it was cute killing me with one fucking arrow? Whos' the bitch now? Bite the curb mother fucker.

P.S. get the Mace of Malag Bal or whatever its name is before you fight the Dragon Priests. It does a good amount of damage and drains their magic so after a few hits they can't really attack anymore.

Also, if you don't finish the quest with Barbas you can have a bad ass invincible dog that can one-shot most enemies follow you around. Considering you can enchant helmets or just use Dragon Masks with similar perks I'd much rather have Barbas than the mask of Clavacus Vile. Wish I didn't finish the quest. :/

Haha, I think everyone does this.

Enchanting is a little tougher, one good way to do it though that isn't so boring it so get Azura's Star ( I used the Black Star version) and a weapon with a Soul Trap perk on it. Every time you kill an enemy fill it back up with Azura's Star immediately, it'll boost your enchanting skill.

I think you can only do it so many times per battle though. I did the Civil War plot and just sat in the middle of Solitude beating guys down as soon as they would spawn but eventually the star just stopped absorbing their souls.

I do both of these. Enchant sneak on bracers for big skill gains. Turn undead, paralyse, or absorb health for daggers.

Get the transmute alteration spell and turn iron ore to silver and gold for jewelry from all the pretty gems you find. Big skill gains off jewelry. Phone Post

I went the warrior guilde type place in winterhold first since their quests as easy and werewolf stops from getting poisoned. Then thieves guild to dark brotherhood and mages guild last.

Easy way to get soul gems is spamming those dwemmer dungeons.

And depending on how you play, for easy hack and slash grab a merc somewhere to help you.

Also use the lovers perk that is found outside Markarth to help learn everything Phone Post

Sneaking is also very effective when you can 3x damage with a bow if you sneak up on a guy then 6x for melee. I can walk up behind a giant while sneaking and one-shot him with my hand axe Phone Post

For Fuck Sakes.

It is not Sony's fault. It is Bethesda Game Studios Fault.

Sony will NOT approve DLC that makes the game WORSE.

Know your facts before you reveal your idiocy.

And you purchased it a second time? For XBOX? That's like saying to Home Land Security, "sure, I don't mind you invading my internal organs with rays that have not been studied to see the damage they do on a human body, just get me on the plane."

Bethesda Games Studios fucked Sony (like they have always done), and they fucked the Playstation owners by lying to them.

LEARN YOUR FACTS!
