What an intriguing video! I felt the need to delve deeper and came up with this bio......

http://www.tobeyleung.com/about-tobey-leung/

"Dr. Leung sub-specializes in sports medicine, occupational health, and interventional pain management. He developed an integrated theory in the behavioral sciencesduring the year 2000, is a criminal and personality profiler, in addition to being one of the world’s highest ranking martial artists – 10th degree Black Belt."

10th degree Black Belt--in ?????????? LMAO!

The way the demostrator position his inserted leg in the throws all Uke had to do is fall down and the knee would be damaged. Also after the throw that is not the way you tie up the near side arm,or pass to side control. From a judo perspective it was white belt level.

I am in the Northern area of California, but can travel easily to different locations in the state or other's states.

Before we judge, try a seminar to see the total effect of what we are doing. Even if you don't like some things, OK! But we all learn and grow together through the martial arts.

Good Morning!

Tobey (also by name, "Shen")

You might be legitimate but your information reads like professional bullshido. You should seriously read your biography objectively. You aren't doing yourself any favors. Phone Post

Writing is a pastime hobby of mine, but like all things there is always a ways for improvement.

Even now 10th dan degree I see new ways for improvements.

:)

Great Day!

I wasn't referring to the quality of your grammar. I was referring to the general sense of "I am an expert in 137 different fields."

I don't know any serious martial artists who would believe you are a judan in any martial art at your presumed age (you appear to be under 50 years of age). I know world class martial artists, literally. Judoka who were on the Japanese national team or alternates on the Unites States Olympic team. They are both shidan in Judo and their full-time careers are related to martial arts. I know people who trained directly under Wally Jay in jujutsu for decades who aren't judan.

I understand how you could be board certified (worrisome you don't mention that, by the way) in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and specialize in Pain Management and Sports Medicine. I have difficulty understanding how you would claim to be an anatomist (although you almost certainly have considerable knowledge), neuroscientist, behavioral scientist, etc. Unless you are actively engaged in such research those claims are embellishing the truth if not blatant mistruths.

"I am a pain management specialist, sports medicine specialist, occupational health specialist, neuromusculoskeletal medicine specialist, anatomist, neuroscientist, behavioral scientist, theorist (not terrorist), criminal profiler, personality profiler, ethicist, moral philosopher, historian, theologian, moral/spiritual mentor, certified close quarter combat reality-based self-defense instructor, grandmaster in Ninjutsu, top rank in Shaolin gungfu, and certified mixed martial arts conditioning coach."

Yusul, never eat meat of any animals with webbed feet! Very important for healthy body and personality.

Joshua Resnick, thank you! You can do throws too. I show step-by-step to eliminate fear and uncomfortable of learning. You CAN find the ways of the art of throwing!

Dave321, OK! Look forward for teaching. Just showing with a open mind and we always are learning best!

I would like to have Master Tobey give a seminar on how to take amazing falls like the uke in the video. The throws would just be icing on the cake.

LOL at "uncomfortable of learning".

Guys, I have been into grabbling arts for nearly two decades and I can tell you, without even pasting that link in my browser (is it SFW by the way?), that if you do not ukemi into this gracious opportunity with all four appendages that MASTER SHEN is offering, it is your loss, not his.

MASTER SHEN, please forgive the doubters and naysayers. They are good people, some are very experienced, but they know not what they do.

"Grandmaster Leung has watched every UFC since its inception in 1993, in chronological order, up to UFC 118 at the time of writing."

GM Shen is such a good instructor that my judo gets better everytime I learn something new about him, like the quote above from his website. Of course I was not improving just sitting on my couch watching UFCs, usually they were not in any chronogical order at all!

The most important lession he has taught me, and that I always pass down to my own students, is that the most efficient way is usually so simple that it seems stupid.
