Like every1 else i want some legends on this card but i do want some Aussie's. It seemes to me like it will just be Noke n Perosh thou. Maybe they might sign some1 else for the card.

Sots won't fightin thou, he is fightin Gomi a week b4. Which is fucked up cause Gomi is goin to get subb'd in front of his home crowd n get cut from the ufc with only 1 win.

Can't believe they didn't put Jeremy Stephens vs Gomi n put Sots against some1 else (Yves Edwards maybe) at 145 (or fx 2)

Any1 remember what the ticket prices ranged from the last 2 yrs? I never got to look cause they always sold out so fuckin fast (Damn ebay sellers)

Tickets were about $600 for front row. I got those those at 110 and at 127 I paid $270 for mid range seats.

The further back the dumber the crowd gets. I never want anything but cage side ever again but if this card sucks I'll be watching couch side which is about $40. Phone Post

I'm hoping a few top notch fighters from 140 pull up good after it and will be ready to go in march. Machida, bones, Tito, both nogs and Mir are all on that card so we could take a couple of them. Phone Post

UFC 140 isn't sold out yet! But you have to consider its a 55,000 seat show.

Mate, I'd give anything to have such a card here. Plus the chance to boo Frank Mir would be as fantastic as booing Bisping.

I think those of us who use twitter should get active and start tweeting the guy regarding the matter. Every little bit helps.

This is a good idea. I do not have twitter, but my lady does so I shall get her to step away from the kitchen briefly and twitter the man.

I'm feeling good vibes about this card. Dana is lurking this thread. Phone Post

Any1 ever got the shittest seats? If so, what's the view like? Is it really worth the extra couple hundred?

I got to sit front row for 110 and 3rd row for 127 and there was a huge difference in atmosphere between those events. The crowd at 110 really was special. You could tell it was a passionate and well educated crowd, and the atmosphere was as good as any event I've ever been to. To be honest the 127 crowd was really disapointing and much less educated. Like crazydave said there were noobs and retards all the way up to cageside (not including BenBJJ).

After 127 i got the opportunity to talk to Marshall Zelaznik about the UFC in Australia and he said with the passion of the Aussie fans, they could easily do 2 events a year down here. He also said that they don't think they would have any problem selling 50,000 seats for a stadium event. If this is still the case I could see them putting on the Sydney show in March while they try to get the cage legalised in Victoria. Then come back later in the year, somewhere around November and do a supershow at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, as well as a fan expo. I think the timing would be perfect because its after the footy season and before the cricket season.

In terms of the Sydney show, I'm not expecting too much, as it seems that it is being thrown together quite fast and it doesn't seem like there are too many big fight possibilities. What I would like to see would be main event and co-main event of

Hendo vs Jones/Machida for LHW Title
Cain vs Mir or Werdum

We most certainly won't get a title fight but Mir v someone sounds good. Mir and wand on the card would increase interest. Allphones is acer right? The stadium in the middle of nowhere? Phone Post

I say yes. No good sitting far away, I hated the seats further back, you spend more time watching the big screen to see what's happening than you do watching it properly. If you want to go, I say spend as much as you can because if you get nose bleed, you'll feel like you should have watched it on TV.

Dana we want to buy expensive seats so give us the card and we will throw money at you. Phone Post

Amen. I am not stopping til we get some sort of answer either way. Where does Joe Silva live? Let's take him some chocolates and a card and see how that helps! "Dear Joe, UFC and Australia are a MATCH MADE in heaven. Help us out. Warmest regards, Oz" Phone Post

This card looks set to be a UFC on FX 2. They changed it from UFC 145 to fx a few days ago on Wikipedia.
This will almost certainly make Alves vs kempman the main event. U cant see this being a very strong card.
After all g-sot who recived the loudest cheers at 110 and 127 is fighting the week before At 144.
It looks like the UFC is throwing this together pretty quick as the traveling distance between japan and Australia being very short it makes sense for them travel wise. Phone Post

Dana, you should respond to this loyal Australian Army. We demand answers. Don't turn your back on us or we will force you to listen to Nikki Webster and Guy Sebastian cd's. You don't know who they are but I guarantee you that you don't want to find out. Phone Post
