I seriously doubt that unless the River Spirit decides to stop holding MMA events altogether. They already have a deal with Cox cable to show the replays.

How can Jon Watashe and Casey Phelps fight for the featherweight belt when Tavares Collins holds it?

Where did Tavares win his title at? Each casino has their own titles.

Dale has separate champions at both casinos apparently. It makes no sense IMO when you are running a show under one banner. Phone Post

 Actually it makes perfect sense.

It just takes away from the credibility of an individual title.

Since casinos have no real interest in the credibility of MMA, it would be logical that each would want title fights.

That's a biased statement, I agree with the credibility of the title, but some casinos do care, and if they are paying the bill, they want the most bang for their buck, who wouldn't Phone Post

Perhaps my statement was exaggerated.  I will admit to not being an MMA insider or having a great knowledge of MMA contracts.

That said, I have worked for casinos in Vegas and occasionally am in a position where I have to investigate some of their financial dealings in Tulsa.

My statement wasn't meant to bash casinos, but rather to say that what they are concerned with is making money.  The "most bang for their buck" as you put it.  This sometimes conflicts with what is most credible in MMA.  Like I was saying, it does make perfect sense that each casino has it's own title and I certainly don't blame casinos for trying to make the most money they can.  After all, it's not an event the caliber of the UFC; they need to make the cash any way they can.

Either way, I will be there to support the guys from my gym.

I just feel like it confuses the audience if you are promoting under one name and having separate titles based on location. Phone Post

Dale could run under a different name at the other casino and get the same effect without confusing the audience on who the XFL champions are. Phone Post

He does. River Spirit's shows are all "Rumble on the River" and all Hard Rock shows are "Xtreme Fight Night". Not sure if they are set up as actual different companies from XFL or not. He could still use the same promoter's license either way.
