Rodrigo Minotauro revealed on Saturday in his weekly column in the Rio newspaper Extra, Antonio Silva is close to his debut in the UFC. The debut gonna be April at an event to confirm. The opponent would be none other than Cain Velasquez, former heavyweight champion and just lost his belt to Junior Dos Santos in November.

If Cains comes out with his speed like he regularly does....is gonna be Cormier fight all over again.

IDK Cain defense is questionable so I give Bigfoot a kind of chance I guess.

I've got Cain in this one, but people who think it's going to be easy are in for a rude awakening.

Bigfoot hasn't earned the right to fight Cain. Mir should be fighting Cain and have Bigfoot fight Carwin when he returns. No offense carwin Phone Post

Um, Cain just lost.  And Bigfoot has arguably a bigger win (Fedor) than anyone Cain has beaten.

That's a terrible fight. Bigfoot gets knocked out in the first round, so they give him an even tougher opponent. The fight makes very little sense.

I don't like it right now. I agree that Cain/Mir and Bigfoot/Carwin are the better matchups to make at the moment.

Wow. Interesting fight. Kind of strange too, I figured big foots first fight they would put with someone more (for lack of a better term) 'expendable' when it comes to marketing.

You know ufc wants that Hispanic audience that Cain brings. But Bigfoot can also bring in viewers due to his size. Phone Post

Happy to see Bigfoot in the UFC but wish that he had an easier opponent for his debut. That's the UFC though. Very few easy fights anymore. The heavyweight division is getting so good. If they grab Barnett and Cormier it will be one of the most exciting divisions. Phone Post

I don't like this fight. Will look like the Cormier fight. They really should have built up Bigfoot to be a monster by giving him a few cans. Take him the JDS route.

I'm sure it will be entertaining, but I thoroughly disagree with this booking. Phone Post

Cormier has Tyson like boxing skills, Cain does not

Horrible match up for Cain IMO

Same camp as Cormier this is going to be night night for big foot if aka uses the same tactic. That head is so easy to hit. Phone Post

This looks like a MMA math type of fight to display how dominate Cain would have been had he fought Fedor. This will be the first time that a UFC champ has fought someone that beat Fedor.

I like the fight. Big Foot can be a dangerous opponent.

Exactly. Think about what Zuffa is counting on: Cain to breeze right thru BF like Cormier did or complete the first round finish that Mike Kyle almost put on him. Zuffa is trying to build Cain back up with a gimme. Only if bigfoot works on his cardio, speed, and mental game he might be able to pull this one off. If he can come in shape like he did vs werdum(which he thru the kitchen sink at, but lost mentaly when werdum ate it all up and rather than keep trying to finish he lost hope .)and keep his head on after first round, he could pull off a win.
