Lol. I used to play for Llanelli back in 1997-98, if that counts. Phone Post
yeah it does count , the just got knocked out of the cup by Neath on Wednesday , I bet pretty big on Neath so was very relieved , Llanelli got a good side especially at home .

I like betting on welsh football because I know so many of the players from uni football that moved into the welsh prem , it's easy to get insider info.

I've also considered rigging some games . Phone Post

To be honest, I only look at the Welsh league games to see how the boys I know who are still playing there are doing. Phone Post

In the aftermath of the surprising cutting of respected Welsh fighter Gerald Harris comes the news of the controversial firing of the Welsh octagon girl Chandella Powell. All this and the continued snubbing of the Welsh welterweight destoyer Eder Jones, one has to wonder about discriminatory anti-Welsh measures beginning to raise their ugly head at ZUFFA.

I would ask UFC vp Reed Harris, Welshman to Welshman, to kindly get to the bottom of these very disturbing matters.

The firing of Chandy Powell stinks of blatant anti-Welsh bias that is being consistently displayed by Zuffa.

Luckily I've heard that Chandy's local Londis in Pontyberem has confirmed that they've kept her shelf stacking job open for her. Phone Post

This is just tragic. One minor indiscretion and our glamorous Chandy is right back where she was the day she was discovered by Dana White on one of his many routine trips through the Welsh valleys scouting mma talent.

The current ZUFFA monopoly situation is clearly bad for the major mma countries, Wales and Brazil.

Paul Harris was born and grew up in Wales, but has trained for many years in Brazil.

This is an unstoppable combination. Phone Post

It was an mma path blazed by the great Welsh vale tudo legend Pele Landy Jons and one currently being followed by Paul Harris and Eder Jones. Of course it was the Welsh guitarist/composer genius Baden Powell that really established this Wales/Brazil cultural affinity.

Good afternoon my fellow brethren. I'm not sure if any of you fine men are on Twitter but there is a fellow Welshman in need of your help.

Follow @UFC_Cardiff

This fine chap is campaigning to get the UFC to Cardiff. Obviously, I find it hard to believe that the anti-Welsh Zuffa corporation will agree to this I still think it's worth giving it a try. Phone Post

Another thing I found on twitter;

“@TomaAbroMMA: Gerald Harris vs D.J. Linderman set to headline Legacy Fighting 10”

It's the return of "The Welsh Wrestling Machine" Gerald Harris. Phone Post

The @UFC_Cardiff guy isn't me by the way. I'd have started a @UFC_Swansea twitter account to try to get the UFC to the home of football, the Liberty Stadium.

I'll settle for UFC at Cardiff though cos if I'm honest UFC Swansea is a fucking terrible idea. Phone Post

It would seem reasonable that the UFC would at least once pay a visit to the very cradle of mma that is Wales given the historical significance of such a visit for mma historians if nothing else. What with Brazil recently having held it's second event and Japan due up this weekend one has to wonder how long this blatant anti-Welsh view within the ZUFFA leadership can remain tenable.

And speaking of anti-Welsh bias, it's good to hear Gerald Harris is ready to make some noise in the middleweight division once again. Gerald knows from bitter experience that a Welshman cannot afford to lose even one fight in that organisation no matter how many consecutive victories precede it. Good luck to Gerald on his climb back to the top!

Another positive story currently circulating concerns our glamorous Welsh octagon girl Chandella Powell. It seems that rumors of our Chandy's firing may not be true and with any luck she will outlive her minor indiscretion and be right back octagonside where she belongs very soon. Best of luck Chandy and hope to you at the next UFC!

What a great day to be Welsh. The Welsh rugby team is only hours away from winning the Triple Crown and I'm going to Leicester to Fight UK 6 to watch fellow Welshman, Dino Gambatesa fight Karsten Lenjoint.

Add that to the fact that the "Welsh Wrestling Machine" Gerald Harris won last night. Are you watch Dana?

Eric Davila vs. Gerald Harris

The 20-11 Davila has won four of five, but lost via submission in his last fight, while the 19-4 Harris is continuing to try and add to his stats in hopes of signing a new UFC contract. Harris had a 10.5 inch reach advantage that he was hoping to utilize in this fight.

Not even 30 seconds into the fight, Harris did what he does best, slammed his opponent. Davila got right back up, and the two men repeated the same cycle for the final 14:30 minutes. Davila was able to get a brief offensive advantage in the final two minutes of the fight, but for the most part, it was a fight that lacked excitement.

Gerald Harris won the fight via unanimous decision, but the fans in Houston weren't given a great show as anticipated. Phone Post

Unfortunately in today's UFC a Welshman not only has to win but win decisively and look good doing it. It's something our Brazilian counterparts know all too well and it's no different for us unfortunately. Hopefully the "Welsh Wrestling Machine" can put some exiting finishes together and force ZUFFA's reluctant, anti-Welsh hand.

It was a good night for Welsh MMA on the national scene on Saturday. My mucker Dino Gambatesa tko'd Karsten Lenjoint in the 1st round to become the FightUK Bantamweight champion. A kick to the body followed up with some brutal punches finished the show.

The Welsh Top Team has another champion.

If you say he's a Welshman that's good enough for me! After all, Welsh and Cornish names can sound Italian.

Congratulations Dino!!

If we are still claiming Joe Calzaghe as one of ours then we have to claim Dino as well. Not typically Welsh like Jonny Jones or Paul Harris but Welsh enough for me.
