Kevin Durant is playing out of this world this season. Is a lack of a "real" big man going to hurt him?

he got Ibaka @least.dude knows how to play defense and hit open jumpers.Kendrick is at least good at keeping opposing bigmen out of their block and boxing out.he doesn't need his bigs to score more,he has Westbrook and Harden to take care of that.

Please explain what you mean by ""real" big man".

Dwight Howard "real" big man!

He does have Westbrook but I'm wondering if they are a real threat versus Bynum and Gasol who by no means is a strong defender. Phone Post

No, mediocre defense and rebounding will hurt him.

A guy with his height, quickness and skill should be shutting people down and snatching 10 boards a game.

He may get a title one day, but right now he reminds me of a young and stubborn Dirk Nowitski. All the talent in the world, but can't see his own flaws.

Agree with that... I believe that Westbrook might hurt him with erratic decisions like he did last year. He is not head strong. Phone Post

So goes Westbrook goes the Thunder.   As good as Durant, the team, the bench are it will come down to whatever the heck Westbrook does in the playoffs.

I hope the core stays together and the douche Lakers don't steal some of their "Thunder".

Based on that criteria, only one team in the league has a "real" big man.
