Ya, I'd say so.

Really it's more up to your drive and work ethic but, ya, the owners are keeping a good part of their focus on providing top training at the pro fighter level. You can develop to fight outta this gym imo.

I'm hoping to pop in and train there when I'm out that way for The Score show this weekend, I'll post some details after.

I know Jan Kaszuba (former K-1 fighter) is teaching stand up.

I'm told they're bringing in a top notch wrestling coach.

That's all I know so far but I know its a priority for the owner to have top fighter training.

Hi,

I'm Bill and this is Bob and were gonna train you UFC!

Now I'm being sarcastic in my above comment.

But really you can have kick ass bags, kick ass mats, kick ass parking, kick ass showers, fantastic membership prices, 1000's of sq feet of training, cages, rings etc... But if there isnt top level BJJ/MMA/Wrestling/Sub-Wrestling/Muay Thai etc.. then how can you get ready to go pro.

Nowadays its every clubs priority to have top notch guys in MMA,BJJ/etc...

But more than likely if you dont have quality instructors in place, people wont develop to their full potential.

This goes for all/any club.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the comments about TapouT Burlington.

We do have top level trainers and more pro fighters are signing up here all the time.

Jan Kaszuba (former K-1 fighter) is teaching our Kickboxing program. Look him up, he's fought in Japan for 5 years.

We have teamed up with Marty Calder (Canadian Olympic Wrestling Head Coach) and Brock University for our wrestling program. Marty and former Olympian Evan MacDonald will be a huge addition to the team we are building here.

Mark Bocek will be teaching BJJ a few days a week as well.

Our boxing coach is pro Heavy Weight MMA fighter Craig Hudson who is fighting for The Score Fighting Series this Friday night. Shane Mountney is running MMA classes and S&C as well.

Our team is really coming together here and the gym is getting busier everyday.

We aren't just all flash, we have the instructors to back it up! Come in and check it out anytime guys!

Theres good and bad when a pro teaches at a school. the obvious is the experience they provide with techniques that actually work, dieting, weight cutting, fight prep and so on, but also, when a pro fighter teaches they eventually have to prepare for their own fights, which, going by my gym, it means that the pro is often away training or healing. id prefer that has a school has multiple pros or retired pros, that way youre always getting quality instruction. jmo.

What is Boceks schedule for teaching?  I live nearby.

Also, I thought you were getting Billy Irwin to teach boxing there, what happened?

 Thank you.

With Mark starting after his next UFC fight who teaches BJJ right now until after May when he begins?

Is he more likely to begin teaching beginning of June after resting a week or two after training camp and his fight?
