I feel like I should just stick with BJJ, but my problem with BJJ is I am 6'4 245lbs, and athletic. There just are not to many people I can train with at most places, and I feel like I lose a lot of my athletic ability there. I think with Judo I can use my size and strength and I would really enjoy it. Just so many questions.

The 2 most popular weights brkts at our local tournaments for Novices are the 160-170 lbs range and over 220 lb. One tournament this year there were 10 competitors over 220 so we had to have 2 brtks 221-260 and over 260 to 310 with 5 man brkts. So the big guys are out there, just find a club with guys your size is the most important. Go to a local judo tournament to watch the competition and met some of them.

I have done alot of martial arts over 30 years... and I have never come across bigger athletes in and MA than I have in Judo....

There are some freaky bug guys in Judo.... and I think the ones I know are all natural..

245 is pretty small I know many 280 + players and one guy is 420!

I think you will fing many guys to train with in Judo.

We have the commonwealth jnr gold medalist at 100KG+ at our club.

He's 17 years old and a proper powerhouse.

He takes it easy with me as I'm a 73KG fighter - and at 43 I'm old enough to be his dad!

Good news is they now have brown belts at the US judo Nationals. I watched the 100+k and it was a very tough Brown Belt div. Won by an amazing 14 yr old kid from Texas:
Devin Sobay froom Texoma Judo of Wichita Falls. I asked someone who is this "kid" beating all these 20 yr old man strength adults and so happened his parents were standing next to me.
