I am moving from Duncan to Comox in the next few weeks. Looking for a place to train. I already intend to check out Comox Valley Boxing, wondering if anyone knows anything about it, and if there is any other place worth checking out. Any info is appreciated, thanks

He teaches at CV Fitness and CV Boxing? Busy guy. I will have to check them all out once I'm there. Thanks!

CVBC is great and they invite other gyms in the area to do open mats which is nice. I don't think there's any other place worth training, unless you want to do Muay Thai at Knockout Martial Arts.

I spent most of my time training at CVBC, I enjoyed the team atmosphere and as far as I know, the fees haven't spiraled out of control. The facility has been improved a lot since I left, it's not the dungeon it used to be. The most competitive fighters in the Comox Valley train there and generally are welcome at other area gyms, so there's no better place you could choose, as far as I'm concerned.

I intend to check it out. I've trained with Nate Swayze a couple times when he was in Duncan, and I know they frequently have guys in the AFC and other local shows. I checked the fees and I can get the most training for my money with them, it seems.

Come on, no one trains in anything in BC. Everyone is too wacked out on the marihuana to even think about getting into some jammies and play "steamroller" with each other.

I saw your thread. I was training with the guy you were referred to. Hell of a coach.

Lol, it is nice to be out of Duncan. I won't even miss the Wal-Mart.
