I'm lazy so I usually just buy but DonQ seems to run out early these days and I was even lazier to go to Sam's club and get them. So I bought them Raw.

One hour to bake, 30-35 minutes to boil or
Microwave in wet paper towel for 5 minutes?

Whatchoo guys do? Phone Post

I tried Nuking one. Came out very dry :-(

Baked 3 for an hour. Was good.

Wanted to boil but old Chinese lady at DonQ told me the water soaks in and takes away some of the flavor. Phone Post

In the end I took the time to bake. It's for my son to bring with him to eat after weigh ins for his Judo match tomorrow.

In a pinch I'll just nuke for four minutes.

Thanks! Phone Post

Whatever you do, make sure you throw caramel and marshmellows on top!

My favorite is french fries.

Other way is toaster oven for a few hours. I used to bake 2-3 smaller sweet potatoes so it lasts a few days. It'll be dry the 2nd day if you try to re-heat it though.

I like to wrap it in tinfoil and boil it for 4 hours then take off the foil and microwave for an hour and a half. Then I preheat the oven broiler and put it on the top rack for just under 2 hours. Then I pull it out and sprinkle epsom salt and fresh cracked black pepper and flip it and broil the other side. After another hour I pull it out and let it cool on the counter before throwing into the trash and getting some McDonald's fries at the drive-thru.

While there I get a vanilla shake and dip my fries into that.

That's the best way to prepare and eat sweet potatoes that I know of.

I hate them.

But I put them in the oven for like an hour at 400 for the mrs. She seems to like them.

Then I kick her in the ass.

I usually steam it in a rice cooker. Comes out great.
