Slowshot - who was that pushing in angles shit for him?

Sabejew, who would eventually immigrate from USSR to Germany and win bronze at the 1996 Olympics.......where Angle won gold. A lot can happen in a few years.

Stainypoo -  Wrestling aint big in norway so i can't really seem to like it, mistet because i don't understand points and how they are judged, the object is to pin the opponent that i understand, i guess they get points from td's and throws or do they score throws the same as a single leg/double? What Else do they score? What is it called when they're on both knee's and hands on the mat and Why do they start in that position sometimes? Phone Post

In folkstyle wrestling, a pin ends a match the same way a sub/KO does in mma. A pin is scored by touching the shoulderblades to the mat for a single count.

Takedown: 2 points (getting opponent to ground in controlling position.)

Reversal: 2 points (switching control while on mat)

Escape: 1 point (returning to feet after being controlled on mat.)

Back points: 2-3 points (Exposure but not a pin of the opponent's back to the mat)

Top and bottom referee's position is what it is called when they are started on the mat. Much like starting in someone's guard in JJ.

First period starts off on the feet (neutral), and if they go out of bounds they are returned with whoever was in control in the top referee's position.

2nd period starts with a coin flip, and the winner gets to decide initial positioning (top, bottom, neutral or defer) and the loser of the coin flip decides in the 3rd.

Basically none of the videos I have are folkstyle (only wrestled in the USA). I mostly have free/greco.

Takedown (Back does not expose to mat past 90 degrees) = 1 point

Takedown (Back exposes to mat past 90 degress) = 3 points

High-Amplitude Throw (Back exposes to mat past 90 degrees) = 5 points

Back exposure on the ground (past 90 degrees) = 2 points

Hold back exposure for 5 seconds = 1 point

Pin = Automatic win regardless of points
