Dear Instructors , Competitors and Friends,

We take our officiating seriously.

Thank you for supporting the 2012 Ontario Open International Jiu-Jitsu Championships. We are excited to announce that Head Referee Andre Terencio, will debut with us and will be overseeing all officiating for our event. Certified by the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, Andre is one of the best IBJJF referees, we know Andre will insure that all competitors have a fair competition. Having refereed competitions for over 10 years, and currently working for IBJJF (Mundials and Pan ’Ams), CBJJ (Brazilian championships), is a great addition to our tournament. In addition to Andre, we are bringing 8 referees from US to help us and we are fortunate to be working with an outstanding team of 16 Referees, 14 of them are IBJJF certified.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: REGISTRATON IS OPEN , Register today divisions are filling up fast.

Thank you for your time.

Keep training hard and we look forward to seeing you at the 2012 Ontario Open International Jiu-Jitsu Championships.

Sincerely,

Ontario Open Staff

thats g : we have lots of referees in being trained here and we have lots of other tournaments that we can use them. At the Ontario Open I will only use Brown and Black Belts, and actually I have 2 purple on the list as well that will be used .

Andrew Correa is a great guy he will be probably be working on other event (Bravado and Provincial) , for the Ontario Open we could not get him here, this was the reason for calling IBJJF referee Andre Terencio.

Having only this kind of referee we try to reduce complains with the referees.
