grizz632 - I've gotten 3 random payments sent to my blockchain wallet in the last 2 days, all of them for 0.00000001

Any ideas what this is about? I've never given my address to anyone to send payment to Phone Post 3.0
This is part of the attack that is happening. The addresses have Enjoy Sochi in them right Phone Post 3.0

I No Kung Foo -
Random Moniker - Never a dull moment in Bitcoin land!

Any speculation who is behind the attack? A well resourced bull who wants bulk cheap coins? A bank or nation state who wants bitcoin dead?

It's an interesting attack vector, but a little hard to see the point.

There usually isn't a point to a ddos attack besides give the attacker a chubby.
This is no longer true. Dodos is a legit military/intelligence strike for disruption. It is also a form of protest. It is also a new frontier for corporate warfare. There is a huge EA funded attack on a set of sites I've been reading about this morning. I'm torn since the morality if the sites is hugely questionable. But should a corporate behemoth be attacking a private individuals business? Phone Post 3.0

Silk Road is a negative part of the BTC story. I'm not too upset if they and their subsequent sites get hacked. Anyone that was using it as an online wallet is an idiot, and most likely wanted to use those coins for illegal activities.

Yeah but the problem is if these coins are going to get dumped on exchanges. Even if 25% of them are dumped that's pretty huge. Phone Post 3.0

I'm not too worried about it TBH. I'm in this for the long game, I couldn't give two shits about a flash-crash.

I think it was 4,000 coins, not 40,000.

And it's the worst of the online BM communities. Too many idiots and scammers on there. There's a few other solid ones with trustworthy vendors that are invite only. If SR2 dies it's better for everyone. They're too out in the open. Phone Post 3.0

I don't think that's correct.

The hackers stole 4474.26 bitcoins worth $2,747,000.

Yeah I guess it might be the wrong address. It's just speculated. I've heard 4k coins stolen, 40k coins stolen, and 88k coins stolen so not really sure what to believe. According to them though they were totally cleaned out. Phone Post 3.0

it passed by what people thought was going to be support like a knife through butter

I'm a buyer between $100 and $200. I have no clue if it will go this low but the long term support line is around $200 and a sell off like this should pass right by support with huge volume and bounce back up to the mean which is around $200.
