It was ... the 117 is nice too. Hopefully tonight's fight lives up to the first one.

I'd be interested in an unsigned one too if it's under $40

I love all the interest at "under $40"... the benefit of living near an event is that you can make a few bucks. We should all move to Vegas!

I was just in Vegas a few weeks ago, I could never live there. Whoever thought it was a good idea to start a resort town in the middle of a desert was retarded...

And I said under $40 cause I like it, but I don't love it. The UFC puts out the most consistently boring posters I've ever seen. This one is just slightly less boring than the norm

The signed alternates were $500, they made very few I believe. The regular signed event posters were sold out the morning of the fight. So only fanboys got posters, anyone that just went to the actual fights didn't get one

from what i understand all of the event signed poster sold out for $300, the special editions sold out for $10, even the regular event posters for $10 were almost all gone at some booths at the event. the signed special edition posters for $500 were limited to 40. dont know if they came with coa or hologram. will be interesting to see if any special edition posters end up at ufc store. pretty much everybody bought everything lol.

I think they dropped the ball with the special edition signed poster. If they had hologram to 40 and had entire card sign the poster i would of bought one for sure.

I agree with Ritchie. I was ready to buy one when I heard about them until I learned that they were not signed by card or came with a coa signed by Dana. Otherwise you can just get both to sign a $10 poster and all that's missing is the sticker. $500 hologram just isn't worth it and I doubt they will hold their value. Phone Post

Gotta dream big! People thought I was asking too much for my pride gloves as well (you wouldn't believe me if I told you what I got for them...). I need to be able to afford to keep one of the two signed L.E.'s I got. I was planning on getting a few signed event posters instead but they were long gone. I waited til the fights happened, then instantly went to the counter and bought two.

I thought about that too Dawgy, but no way Chael will sign those posters, or he'll sign over Silva's face or something, and Anderson is at a level where he never has to sign again, maybe one or two more expos (which I don't attend). Not a fan of waiting in line either, and I don't care much about meeting most of these guys. I waited in line for Mir once at a gnc, that was worth it as he's one of my faves, but overall I just like to watch them fight

Yea that's mine. I believe the last 2 digits are the number of the poster. The one I'm keeping is 29

No doubt that they are cool posters, but I just don't see them being worth the initial $500 nor holding that value over a sustained period of time. If it were signed by the card, yea because it would be hard to get everyone to sign a limited edition poster. As it is, you can easily get both sigs with a trip to the next expo.

A poster like rampagezilla nearly doubled in value once it was released. By now it has tripled. The significance of the first Japan show in a decade is far greater than a rematch, in my opinion. It's still a damn cool poster and time will tell if it maintains value and demand. Great job on your white bolts. I've had crazy offers on mine, so I can imagine what they went for. Phone Post

Rampagezilla marks the worst performance in jackson's career. I'd say 400 is a realistic number on it. I agree that the 148 le signed ain't worth anywhere near 500. Just too easy to replicate at an expo.

I've turned down offers if more than 450 for mine. While his performance was shitty, the choice of font and overall design of the poster along with the coa add to its desire ability.

The thing about it that makes it more rare is that there were no $10 cheap versions of rampagezilla, so the 25 in circulation are impossible to duplicate.

A hardcore collectors can appreciate the se 148, but I don't think many people would be willing to pay the associated cost. Phone Post

Also, nobody knows how many 143 gsp/Diaz posters were printed, so they are rarer as well. Phone Post

Agree with Dawggy here, the SE 148 is a very cool poster, but being signed by only Anderson & Chael, and not having anything special other than the hologram sticker, I just don't see it being $500 down the road. I'm sure there will be other opportunities to have both of these guys sign your poster at some other point.

I think the rarity of that poster is grossly exaggerated because I see them for sale all of the time. BTW, I own that poster.

The strange thing about the jaws poster is that the value was set by the guy that got most of the copies. For all we know, they could have been sold for $10 each st the event. Lot of questions surrounding that poster, which adds to some of its value as anyone can claim its very rare but nobody knows for sure how many were printed up. Phone Post

It's all conjecture, it's worth what someone will pay. Someone with big money and not trusting of some yahoo that goes to expos will pay for the hologram. All day I get ebayers telling me I won't get what I'm asking, yet I always do

I think alot of the 143 jaws posters we've seen come up for sale are ones that people have bought and flipped right away. These originally came from fighermemorabilia, this is what the newsletter said about this poster when it was offered for sale earlier this year:

We recently came across perhaps one of the RAREST UFC Posters of its kind. Its the GSP vs Diaz UFC 143 Poster produced by the UFC to promote the fight, once the fight got cancelled, all production was stopped and the posters were supposed to be destroyed.  However, we were able to purchase a small handful of these posters.

What we were told was there is less than 50 in existence and the inspiration of the poster design was from the Jaws movie....The actual Jaws movie poster.  Jaws being Nick Diaz towering over GSP.
