Pre/ post doesn't matter

Cup of broccoli
Cup of mixed greens (spinach, chard, romaine, etc)
Cup of berries
One packet of *secret ingredient*
Two servings of protein powder

Blend to flavor
Chug!

The broccoli flavor gets covered by the berries.
The broccoli also makes me feel like a 12 year old again!

This is pre workout (for me) Phone Post

I've been enjoying this lately:

1/2 cup FROZEN pineapple (or more to taste)
1/2 cup FROZEN mango (or more to taste)
3/4 cup leafy spinach
3/4 cup kale
1 banana
1.5 cups coconut water
Blend to desired consistency

You can also add unflavored protein powder or greek yogurt for a protein boost.

I cut up the mango and pineapple the night before and put it in the freezer. This is what makes the smoothie cold.

The fruit covers up the veggie taste, but the smoothie still has an "earthy" feel to it. It is very good.

1 banana
4 big chunks/pineapple
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 handful of raw pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds

12ealdeal - What is the point of not listing all ingredients and having a "secret ingredient"?

Are you too cool to share?
Does it give you super powers?
Is it illegal?
Shall I go on?

Either way, I just think that's silly.

ANYWAY my pre-workout shake is a "secret" too. True story bro Phone Post
Fine I'll tell

Just make sure you buy it, a lot of it!!

Currently I use the "MAGIC BULLET" as my blender. I actually don't like it very much, but it is all I have at the moment and don't feel like buying anew one.

You guys must be going to the grocery store every two days to keep so many damn vegetables around.

Just use a green foods blend.

I go to Costco twice a week, I go through a lot of veggies a week.

Does anyone use a green blend? I don't know anything about them, I don't even like taking protein powder... Phone Post

NoNameNoSlogan - ...you guys who list 3/4 cup this, 1/2 cup that... do you really measure shit out each time?

I just grab a handful of spinach and kale and throw that shit in.

(oh, and those of you who list, "secret ingredient"... Is it your own urine?

No that just happen to be the way I logged it that time.
I hardly ever have the same ingredients 2 times in a row, except the protein.

I don't measure it, but I know the difference between a 1/2 cup and cup without breaking out the actual cups. It's a skill, don't hate.

I empty most of the fridge every 3 days or so, and yes that's mostly fruits and veggies. I don't just put them in shakes though but cook with them as well. I also have the feeling that fresh fruits and veggies are always gonna give you more nutrients than a chopped and dried powder version. Someone has probably done a study about that.
