So I'm going to be in Calgary for UFC 149 and a couple of days prior. As I'm in training for my Aug 18 fight I'd definitely like to find a gym to get some training in. My coach, Adam Zugec, should be coming with me so I more need mat space.

Anyone know what gyms are in Calgary and what ones are located nearby the UFC 149 venue? Thank Canada UG

BDB. Sheila Bird and Nick Ring both train there.

BDB is now Champion's Creed. Cage, boxing ring, 3000 sqft mat. Very nice facility.

They are also hosting the UFC open work outs:

I have hear there are already fighters visiting and working out there this week including Hector Lombard and Rory MacDonald.

Sounds like the place to be.

Can't go wrong with either CC or GB.

MMA University might be another option, but check out my provincial listing for Alberta for the Calgary gyms.
