Looks awesome!

I just built something very similar, but with a $200 MSI Radeon 7850 instead of that beast of a GPU you've got in yours.

Its strictly a gaming pc, I dont need hyper threading. Also it's a hell of a lot cheaper. Went with ivy bridge instead of sandy bridge since this was my first build. Phone Post

Haha sold!

Did it take you long to put together? I've been thinking about building my own, I'd like to give it a go myself instead of buying one that's already been built. Phone Post
Had a buddy of mine help, he has his own computer repair shop.  It took a few days because the motherboard I bought was faulty and I had to drive out to where I bought it and exchange it.  My buddy installed Windows 7 for me and threw in a few games for free.  All in all it took a few days before i was able to bring it home because of the faulty motherboard (benchmarks, stress tests etc.)

And trust me, building one yourself is WAAAAAAAAAY better than spending twice as much on an already built pc.

I love the surround setup, but my one regret was falling for the whole 3D thing...these monitors are expensive...i could have done very well without the nvidia 3d

lol but they are amazing...I can split all three screens and do more work or play on one screen and have the wiki on the other or if i am playing a shooter, i see two extra screens worth of game...meaning i get what everybody else see's on the middle monitor AND the left and right monitors see what others do not. It is harder to flank me :)

Why not?  It's a fun process.  And it's a lot better than buying one already built (cheaper too).

Yea the only reason I'm deciding to build my own is because it is much cheaper.

I just can't be bothered with the hassle, and if I fuck up then I would have to start all over again. Plus there are still 1 or 2 things I need to learn about building PC's before I attempt my own. Phone Post
