Most likely...just future proofing I guess, since I had the money now.

I bought 4GB when everybody said the most you needed was half that..so got a half decade out of it. Paid off in the long run IMO.

 Haha thanks.  This one is extremely quiet and stays real cool.  My old pc though, that fucker sounded like a jet engine on takeoff lol.
