Joe Lauzon!

"Has won Submission of the Night five times (Guillard, Warburton, Melendez, Stephens, Ruediger), Fight of the Night three times (Sotiropoulos, Florian, Stout), KO of the Night once (Pulver)" www.ufc.com/fighter/Joe-Lauzon

Add in the two tonight and you have 11 total.

Couldn't happen to a classier dude........a very knowledgable fighter to learn from.......his ability to break down the fight game to teach it to someone is impeccable.....IMO he would be better a great person on the mic with KenFlo Phone Post

Not to be a deuche, but I think it's just 9 officially. There were two others that he might have won at UFC 63 and the TUF 5 finale, but they weren't officially reported. Those 9 add up to 475k, though. Pretty much a badass.

Now that I typed that out I realized it was deuche. Sorry.

Basically any card that may seem like it will turn out to be shit, needs to have Lauzon on it.

He is pretty much guaranteed to save the card.

I believe he got one for the Pulver fight before they officially called them OFN bonus's, and at the TUF 5 finale bonus's were given for the usual same 3 categories, but for some reason they are not counted officially

There is always been something special about Joe. If you read the Tale of two Joes article on UFC.com, it goes into a little bit what it was like when Joe first trained at our gym.

Our instructor, Joe Pomfret was a legit BJJ purple belt at the time and Joe had ZERO formal training beyond his cousin showing him some shootfighting leglocks here and there. And the very first night of his first training session Joe almost caught our instructor in one. Then I don't think it was even 3-4 months into Joe officially starting BJJ that he did get Joe Pomfret to tap out to a leg lock. We were all floored because as typical beginers our instructor was UNTOUCHABLE to everyone else in the gym, except Joe of course.

If you look at early NAGAs, even though they are not some high level grappling tournament, with less than 2 years BJJ training Joe was competing at and beating black belts. Hell he even won an open weight advanced level one day tournament as a scrawny ass guy barely weighing 145.
