Wow easily all time. For a while I was just playing at work for 8 hours a day (and still getting paid).

But have hundreds of hours in all the Bethesda titles (Fallout 3 & New Vegas, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim) as well as the Total War series (Rome, Shogun 2).

Close...I was at Activision then.

After the merger we all got a free year of WoW, so I reactivated my account. But reason I played all day at work is my boss was my guild-master. So he had no problem letting me game at work to make sure I was raid-ready...as long as our workload was still getting completed of course.

UGCTT_Jay Edz -  FFVII, no idea how many times I've completed that game. Phone Post

Yep.

Average I play that game for about 75 hours before I beat it and I have probably beat it around 6 or 7 times.

So over 400 hours at least.....kinda pathetic looking back

I gotta add the early Total War games. Rome and Medieval II rank right up there for hours spent. The sheer number of mods for those games allow insane replay value. Medieval II with Stainless Steel 6.4 mod is the current game I play the most.

Final Fantasy 7 - I just love that game its a classic. When i first played it it took me ages to complete as a kid.
GTA - I've played a number of them over and over but Vice City is probably the one i've played the most.
Skyrim - It stole my life for a while.

What does that mod do?? I love the TW games as well!

Adds a ton of stuff to the game. Better graphics, units, campaign and battle AI, etc. Adds more features and stuff. Really more then I can list. Its on version 6.4 so there has been a lot added since SS 1.0 came out. It really is a huge step up from the vanilla game. :)

as a child it would have been championship manager and pokemon. championship manager during the 6 week school holiday would get just as much attention as going out and playing football in the park. pokemon red/blue i finished both multiple times, and that usually takes anywhere from 40-80 hrs.

since then i have only played one game for an extended period of time, battlefield bad company 2.

Asheron's Call.

Was one of the original MMOs and it came out around 1997 or so. Played it every day for like 5-6 years. I really wish I had spent that time studying or doing productive things.

I don't think investing large amounts of time playing games is bad in and of itself, but when your total time spent playing a game gets into the weeks and months then you know you have a problem.
