Are they any good? Reading the synopsis and they sounded interesting though I might need to put em off to my retirement as I still have the SOng of Fire and Ice to get through :-)

Yeah man. They are fantastic. I'm starting book 5 today.

I was pretty new to fantasy and thought they'd be really cheesy or sophomoric. Nah, these are brutal and R rated.

You can very much tell Erikson is a trained archaeologist/anthropologist because the setting is so unbelievably fleshed out and huge. I've never read anything based in fiction that touches that scope.

Granted, this is my first series of this size... but that point still stands.

ferox13 - This is the last book I finished.

Already Dead - Charlie Huston

This is the first book in Charlie Huston's Vampire Noir series featuring P.I/Problem Solving/Hired Muscle blood sucker, Joe Pitt. Its set in a New York whose underworld is controlled by Vampire clans - trying to survive in this world as a Vamp for hire is our Hero. Its a light weight but very enjoyable start to the series and I hope to get into the rest shortly...

Already Dead LINK (right click save as)
I've just finished this last night, great book, fast paced, I since downloaded the rest of the joe Pitt books if you want them, I started the next book in the series this morning, No Dominion. Seems good so far Phone Post

Excellent....

I reading No Dominion at the moment ; its a good fun, easy read. The one thing that irked me a little was him repeating explainations for the virus/NYC politics and his Hiv Gf. I guess it has to be done if the reader hasn't started at the first novel. Phone Post

I'll see if this works:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/107164519/All%20You%20Need%20Is%20Kill%20-%20Hiroshi%20Sakurazaka.mobi

Book: All You Need is Kill

Sci Fi, soldier caught in a time loop, forced to relive the same battle again and again.

Book Maths: Groundhog Day + Full Metal Jacket = All You Need is Kill

Suitable for : Sci Fi fans, people who like a short read(the book is only a couple of hundred pages), action fans, also a bit of a mindbender to boot.

The book has a really good pace, you'll finish it in a couple of days.

Interesting fact: Apparently it's going to be Tom Cruise's next movie, the book is awesome, read it before it gets the Hollywood bullshit treatment.

To download them on a PC with Firefox - you have to Right click on the Link then goto SAVE LINK AS...

This will DL it as a .mobi file to your computer.

Is there an equivalent to this on the MAC - MouseClick+Apple Key might bring up a similar option.
