I think I could go 30 k.

But I have a bad knee now so without stopping to massage and relax quads it starts to hurt like hell after about 15.

5k is probably about my max. I have done 2 differnt 5k's and by the end I am pretty much smoked. That being said, I have never really trained to run over 400M.

45 minutes 10k at a race about a month ago. don't know what my 5k time is. i'd like to try a 10 miler and 1/2 marathon.
i'm not really interested in running a full marathon though, takes too much time.

No, around 2 miles is my max before I have to walk it out a bit.

My calves get so sore while running! It's not even about being out of wind, it just HURTS!

I'm rehabbing a broken ankle, so not at the moment

Before I broke it (in late July) I was running 5-6 miles a pop 3x a week. But I go slowly.

It all depends on pace. I could run for a long time at a  10min mile but not so much at a 7. I ran 4 miles in 28 mins this summer but I didn't enjoy it very much.

Last time I did a 5k was over 10 years ago. I think I came in at 27 minutes. I generally hate distance running and rarely do it. However, I can walk out my front door and do a mile in 5 and a half minutes. Unfortunately I'll be useless after that. Phone Post

I did a little over 8 miles my last run and stopped because my knee was hurting (IT band/bad shoe issue) and I didn't wanna aggravate it. How far can I run? About as far as I have food, water and don't injure myself I'd guess, within reason of course. Running slow is easy, a better Q is how fast can you run for a given distance.

i dont run very often, but i can run 3 miles at about a 7:45/mile pace fairly comfortably...that is not an easy pace for me, but its also not killer. if i was in a race or really had to push it, i could drop that to around 7:20 or so per mile.

if i am running 8:30/mile pace, i can basically run indefinitely, although i have never gone more than 6 miles due to boredom and a desire not to burn too many calories. i dont understand how people say they "run" at a 9-10min/mile pace(or slower)...i cant run that slow even when trying to...feels like i am not actually running but am rather doing some sort of weird movement that is a caricature of running.

I was thinking about how "running" is a relative term. What I used to call "running" seems like a slow shuffle/jog now. Nowadays I will run 8 miles in 1 hr for a good "run".

I detest running. Probably because I never learned how to do it properly. I'm not very big (5'5", 170lbs) but when I run I have a tendency to slam my feet down. To the point where I'm not usually allowed to use treadmills at the gym.

I was on vacation a few weeks ago. Was eating like crap, didn't have any easy exercise outlet to burn off the extra calories, so I decided to run each morning. It was 6k and I did it in about 40 minutes, pretty leisurely. But by the 3rd day I was pretty fucked up.

I could barely walk, I kept running (just because I wanted to be able to keep eating crappy for the rest of the week), but from the 3rd day on I limped quite a bit.

Knees and hips both hurt like hell. I'm convinced it's because of my form.
