Roach is legit of course, he was a good fighter and a pupil of the Eddic Futch. I think he's legit, but I have never considered him to be the best trainer in the world.

In the modern era very few guys do that and amateur and pro are so different now that its two different styles of coaching Phone Post

different coaches for different people, for instance, i think khan should have gone with manny stewart. roach was a horible choice for him. he does not seem to do well with tall lanky guys. stewart has the oppisite problem

Agree completely some of the shot that went down in the Olympics proved that. A knockdown is scored the same as a jab :-s Phone Post
