Garage style! Okay I gave it a shot,kinda pooped from my 7 mile run last night. I need a 45 pound plate instead of jimmy rigging weights. Had a 20lb vest and 30 pound barbell. When i get to my muay thai gym again it will be easier to do.My legs were up and crossed trying to keep weight from sliding off haha. I was already in trouble for using the girls belt to hold weights hahahah so she wasnt happy to be filming plus i interupted halloween decoration time. :) I think i do better after a small run after all. I got 5 but last one was tough.

11 confirmed with some small kicks. Any disputes for that number?

I 'm interested to try a different grip instead of the usual wide lat pulldown grip. I think I may be able to use my biceps and shoulders a little more if I bring arms closer together. I will post up my next vid from the gym. :)

I think a neutral grip a little wider than where leigh had it would be the strongest form of pullup.

But yes... 12 is the goal. I'd accept 11 if there were no kicks at all (not that they really help, but if it ever comes down to two dudes with the same reps it would be the superior form for me, rather than a tie).

Damn Leigh, nice work! That is one haggard set up for pullups, lol.

I struggled a bit to hit 6 reps last night but I am in fat boy mode. Hoping this is still going in a few months when I trim it back down a little.

It was definitely less significant than last time (since the weight was in the way). It wasn't bad at all, IMO, I'm just saying if two people did the same effort but one had little kicks, and one had none, the latter would take it.

I sincerely doubt this will be an issue, but if it ever is :)

So a few days ago, i did 6 reps with 40lbs on a super fat bar (chins). I mean this bar was so fat that i couldn't get my hand around it, so i had to do a wrist curl with the flat palm lol.

I'd say if i added another 10 lbs and had a decent set up i'd probably hit about 6.

Got my work to do, but just far enough from leigh to be motivated for this!!!
